Jenna has shown she is comfortable enough to take on sapphic roles that include kissing women.

All that tells me is that if she’s paid, she will kiss a woman.

Emma, however, has yet to take on a sapphic role and we don’t know if she would be comfortable taking on that role.

Some things to consider.

Emma is from Florida, a state that has consistently voted conservative in the last several elections.

She was homeschooled. Homeschool is popular among conservative households.

She has made posts acknowledging Easter, a Christian holiday.

She has not made a post celebrating Pride Month.

She framed Wenclair as a joke and made it a point not to ship real people: NME, 27 June 2024

She has never been pro-Wenclair, only noncommittally that it was “possible”. Variety, 30 Jan 2023 She then went on to say Wednesday should be single and pushed the possibility of Wenclair to a season that may not happen. That to me says that she was politely avoiding committing to a sapphic role.

Wenclair is all well and good in fanfiction and fandom, but we should also be considerate of what the actors and actresses are comfortable with.

Enid has only ever been explicitly attracted to men (Ajax). She enthusiastically kisses Ajax several times. That is the role we know that Emma auditioned for.
