to fall faster as it sets

I look at your canvas and you've added clouds, mountain peaks, and comets

Complete with stars, hurling through the night sky...

I'm still staring when I hear you say, "would you like to get out of your head and jump into mine?"

Taking that leap was like biting into a cold, fresh cosmic crisp

Like I can't get rid of you, sticky on my lips

You're driving me down a road of silver linings

Only to end up in kissing in cars,

Spilling our drinks, and licking our scars

Watching the birds scream by the water

I wish these seconds and minutes lasted longer.

The sky's still falling and I dip my largest brush underwater.

When paint drowns, light finds a way through.

I remember drawing this sweet little blind friend and thinking I could help him out. I drew my glasses onto him but it seems they're not his prescription. He just keeps screaming to find his way.
