TIME SENSITIVE!
Hey guys i have talked to you about his campaign before but i urgently want to bring your attention back once again to my friend Bilal salah's campaign. This cant wait, so please pay attention.
Bilal ( @bilal-salah0 ) is a 22 year old who moved to germany before the genocide began, and has been raising funds to evacuate his family of 18 from gaza since, including 5 children and 3 newborns.
Bilal's financial support has been getting them through this difficult time, as prices for basic amenities like food and water skyrocket, and necessities like diapers for the babies become scarce due to the blockade.
Currently bilal has raised €66,762 raised of €70,000 goal.
He is less than €4000 away from his goal.
Bilal has been facing problems with his visa in germany and is currently under the threat of deportation. The verdict on that is to arrive in 2 weeks, by August 15th. If he recieves deportation orders, he might be declared stateless by september. He is still caught up in looking for a lawyer to fight this, and due to the uncertainty of his housing situation in the immediate future, he hasn't been able to campaign for his family like he used to before.
I don't know what else we can do for him right now, but the least we can do at the moment is try to get Bilal to his goal so that his family can have this assurance, and so that we can at least ease this one worry off his shoulders. So i am appealing to you to please help him out and get him though that last stretch as soon as possible, he needs all the help he can get.
Please donate any amount you can, and please keep sharing.
Hi everyone, I am Bilal, 22 years old, from Gaza, Palestine. I am reaching… Bilal salah needs your support for Help Evacuate My Family f

this pride, i learnt about the Palestinian trans woman Oscar Al-Halabiye, dancer and resistance fighter against the israeli occupation in Southern Lebanon. she named herself Oscar after Lady Oscar from the "The Rose of Versailles", a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Riyoko Ikeda.
her story is documented in Cinema Fouad(1993). zionists use pink washing to reinforce their genocidal terrorist narrative when queer Palestinians have been fighting against the occupation since the very beginning. you can watch it here with english subtitles. long live the intifada!

ill keep my ting brief:
i have moderate ME/CFS, but was forced to transition back into hourly wage labor to at least Try and cover some of our expenses so we dont have to ebeg as much. unfortunately i dont get paid for a while and need help staying fed+covering essentials. folks can chip in via one of these three links, my wife and i's shared links, or by getting something off our registry.
if you can't chip in, reblogging is VERY much appreciated, but please dont tag this with "signal boost"/"donation" or anything of the sort. any attempts at doing so or condescending to me about this very basic thing i am asking in the reblogs or tags WILL result in a block.
6/14
traction has been decent but donos have slowed to a trickle, and i still have expenses. texas summers are kicking my ass, and the flies are everywhere (which is MASSIVELY setting off my ocd). we need low-scent pest control stuff, along with restocking on toiletries and basic first aid and cleaning supplies (also must be low-scent/scentfree). we also still need to be able to feed ourselves, which is not cheap, and have bills due soon. since i am unemployed again and still in the process of finding another job, i am entirely reliant on funds raised for survival. please help.
(if it sweetens the pot, my wife and i's shared Patreon has writing of mine uploaded there, and will have some poetry i've written posted there soon!)

Basem Al-Khandaqji, a Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jail, has won the International Prize for Arabic Fiction for his book, "A Mask, the Color of the Sky," which is about a Palestinian who takes on an Israeli’s identity.
He was unable to recieve the Prize as he was jailed for three life sentences from back in 2004. The person who recieved the reward on his behalf says Khandaqji smuggled the book out of jail page by page so as to avoid the suspicion of Israeli jailers.
The book is about a Palestinian archeologist who assumes an Israeli's identity after finding the Israeli's identity card in an old coat. Nur, the Palestinian, becomes the Jewish Israeli "Ur," and he travels through society to explore his occupiers way of life.
Israel has refused to allow Al-Khandaqji the cash prize, as they claim payment for terrorists is forbidden. However, the fact that Basem won this prize, which is called the "Arabic Booker" is outstanding in itself, considering the lengths he went through to write and publish the book.
This book is a testament to Palestinian resistance and art, showing the lengths Palestinians go through to make their voices heard, and the excellence of their crafts.

“landlords are bad because they don’t work” no. landlords are bad because they use the justice system and the police to render innocent people homeless. landlords are bad because they put barriers between living human beings and having shelter. landlords are bad because they hoard wealth and resources while their community suffers
enough with the ableist horseshit. nobody needs to work 40h a week to deserve to live
landlords are bad because a neighborhood becomes a slum when the people living in it have no motivation to maintain it because they don't own it.
landlords are bad, because once you've been renting out one house for a while, you take that money and you buy another one. where did you get that money? well you are paying the bare minium to maintain your rental property and you're charging rent to cover the mortgage and then some.
landlords are bad, because when you rent you pay more than the cost of the mortgage of the property which means you can't save up to get a mortgage on a property
landlords are bad because they compete with people who actually want to live in homes for the housing market driving up prices and leaving people with no choice but to rent, which feeds the cycle because your landlord is just gonna use your rent to buy another house to rent.
like, yes, landlords are bad because they'll evict you if you don't pay the rent, but they are also bad because they trap you in poverty just by existing.

i do not feel the death under my fingers but i know it’s there
i do not feel the lost digits but i can infer the number
i cannot feel the violence under the impersonal plastic but i know it well
fellow laborer i smell your blood on the plastic even though i can’t see it
fellow laborer i cannot feel your blood under my fingernails despite the fact that i know it’s there
how many of you young faceless ones have given your hands for a paycheck
how much flesh have they cut from your limbs in the name of automation
my arms move mechanically i am none but electrical impulses
nerves twitch
i speak the words of those who seek to cut out my own flesh to cut their check fresh and gleaming with my own fat
fellow worker i want a better world for you
you who have been eaten i see you too
A Black trans woman has lost both legs after allegedly being 'thrown' onto subway tracks in NYC: a GoFundMe has been launched to help her.
A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help a 29-year-old Black trans woman who lost both her legs after allegedly being thrown onto NYC subway tracks by her boyfriend. A statement from the New York City District Attorney confirms that the victim and her boyfriend were at the Fulton St. station in Brooklyn when the man is said to have seen the oncoming downtown train coming and “thrown” his girlfriend towards the tracks. “The victim was rushed to the hospital, where both of her legs had to be amputated. She also suffered from fractures to her ribs and a blood clot in her lungs,” the statement continues. When the police arrived, they found the woman under the train, reports Into. The woman has since taken part in an interview with trans activist Hope Giselle, and explains that she was on her way to a gender-affirming appointment when she alleges that she and her boyfriend got into an argument and he “threw” her onto the tracks.

The destruction of Gaza, by USA weapons.
Having to explain to way too many people that no, Iran doesn’t have nuclear weapons.
“How do you know they’re not hiding them?”
Do you have any idea the infrastructure required to just build a bomb, let alone test it? We’re talking about thousands of workers, hundreds of acres of facilities, just for fuel production alone.
Construction of specialized plants for assembly and subcritical experimentation.
Not to mention the actual testing of a device. No military in the world will willingly use a weapon that has not been tested in the real world. Computer simulations still aren’t able to accurately render what happens inside of a nuclear weapon at the moment of detonation.
Accurately measuring the yield (explosive power) of a nuclear weapon requires detonation, and extensive instrumentation. The setup of such a test is large and distinctive enough that it can be detected via satellite and aerial photography of test sites, as happened in 1977 in South Africa. The USSR got wind of a pending test and informed the US (yes, really), who overflew the site with an SR-71, and told South Africa to knock it the fuck off.
Iran is probably the most surveiled country in the world besides North Korea. They don’t have nukes.
Israel does, though, and Israel scares me.
I mean, even if the setup weren't detectable via satellite the detonation would be detectable via seismograph, right? Or is there some other type of testing?
Absolutely yes. That’s how we’ve detected basically every nuclear test since the 80s
And we can't forget that this supposed concern has been used to push for war against Iran for at least the last 20 years. Neocons have been screeching about "Iran is x months away from developing nuclear warheads" for pretty much the entirety of my lifetime.
Talking points like these are hold overs from the war on terror, and much like 9/11 the US government and their proxies in corporate media are going to use this moment to push for more war. Make sure you don't believe the bullshit.

zionists will literally say verbatim we're so proud to announce we killed these 3 children 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱 then call any and all accurate coverage on the genocide they're carrying out blood libel
idk to me it’s just like,,,black people coined the phrases say her name and rest in power for a reason and im gonna focus specifically on say her name because it was black women who wanted to call attention to the systemic violences that we have faced that have resulted in the deaths of so many of us which were left unrecognized. it was specifically addressing an issue within the black community wherein black femicides (particularly at the hands of the police/intimate partners) were not given the same spotlight as the murders of black men. we are always forgotten in life and in death and that is part of why the violence against us has been permitted to continue to the point that we are at a significantly higher risk of homicide than any other race. and the statistics are even more grim for black transwomen and femmes. for every nonblack victim of transphobic violence that gets recognition in their horrific death, there are 10 black victims whose names we never know. like that is the whole point of the phrase this shit is life or death for us and we know that the moment race is decontextualized from the nature of the phrase then that is when we are once again forgotten. but yall are acting like we’re trying to start genz tiktok lingo/aave co-opting discourse.
what im essentially trying to say is that say her name isn’t aave or slang or “just something black people say” it was a very intentionally crafted call to action that was made with a specific purpose - that being to highlight black women as being disproportionately vulnerable to violence yet overwhelmingly overlooked. and i think the reason why a lot of yall are mad when we say to pick a diff phrase is bc yall think of it as internet slang and not an actual movement largely driven by social media a la #blacklivesmatter
