I thought Katniss was absolutely badass from the start, but she had teenage issues like they all do, which made her more real.Â

I prefer book Katniss. As much as I love Jenâs performance, thereâs just so much complexity that the movies leave out.Â
Day 3:Â What do you think of Jennifer Lawrenceâs portrayal of Katniss?Â
I think Jenâs portrayal of Katniss is absolutely fantastic! She really brings the character to life, and she nails it every time.Â
Day 4:Â What is your favorite Katniss moment?
Well, this is more of an Everlark moment, but the âYouâre a painter, youâre a bakerâ scene is great. Alone? Probably her propo in District 8.Â
Day 5:Â What is your favorite friendship of Katnissâs?
Between Katniss/Haymitch and Katniss/Finnick.Â
With Haymitch, heâs her father figure. Losing her dad so young was hard, and through mentoring and advice, Haymitch was there for her like a father. Though he lied to her at times, he cared about Katniss and Peeta like they were his own. Katniss finally had a father in her life again.Â
With Finnick, they just have a strong bond thatâs obvious. They both know and can connect to the harsh realities of what the Games and Snow had put them through. Theyâre able to open up to each other, and be vulnerable.
Day 6:Â What is your favorite romantic relationship of Katnissâs?
Katniss and Peeta, enough said.Â
7. What does Katniss mean to you?Â
Katniss means the world to me. She gives me the courage to stand up and fight for what I believe in, and that things are worth fighting for.
