i often forget the x-files is just a tv show like what do you mean all these events didn't actually happen

the x files season 8 is so funny bc it’s just agent doggett following scully around crime scenes muttering “i thought u were meant to be the fucking sane one” under his breath ad infinitum

I will say, Padgett clocking that Scully is in love with Mulder from the arm touch alone did make me giggle, plus Mulder's very subtle glance at Scully after he drops the "agent Scully is already in love line"

can someone PLEASE tell me what drug they put in the west wing bc i literally feel completely unique emotions when watching & thinking abt that show. how did they make it that good.

there is so much to say abt the x files as a piece of media, but i do think a really important thing to stress when contextualising it as a show is that no other television show would have even attempted telling a lead character she has cancer via having her attacked by a fucking cannibalistic cancer eating walmart wade wilson

shadow government says they hate mulder so bad and then literally hand deliver him his soulmate, like which is it??
