A while back I took some of the most intimate portraits I’ve ever been subject to. A wonderful black woman named Christine who is a mutual follower on Instagram reached out and asked if I would let her take my photo in my then apartment because she thought I was dope (which was flattering). I initially said no because I was ashamed of where I lived, but when I moved to BedStuy I decided that I needed a fresh, new mindset to accompany my new apartment. So these photos, along with a few others that I’ll most likely post another time, are the result of me letting go of fear.

Also the music is unparalleled.
