a small scoff escaped chappelle’s lips. was she really this dense? “well, um,” they paused for a moment. “because i’m better than you?” she shrugged her shoulders and then smiled a little. “no offense ..”

a small smirk slid across belly’s features as rowan spoke. she was glad rowan had said it was a good idea because, well, belly was easily persauded - especially when it came to rowna.  “then what are we gonna do about it?” she questioned with a quirked brow.

rory sighed and looked over at the other. “i can’t do this anymore, dude,” she mumbled and passed them a small baggie. “you’re gonna have to find another weed guy, okay?” she looked down to her hands. “i just can’t fall in love right now and you’re pretty much everything that i love, so... yeah.”

“or, how about ... no ?” leah rolled her eyes at the other as they guarded the last donut. “oh, wait, i’m sure that’s not a word you’re used to, is it?”

kennedy looked over at the other before moving her gaze to her hands. “we were something, don’t you think so?”

"i'm glad i'm not the only hugger around here! me and chloe are but i guess alec is the weird one." she stuck her tongue out at her brother playfully. alec simply rolled his eyes and announced that he'd go get a drink. "it's hard because we live so far apart but i'm glad we're all finally together!" betty looped an arm through keegan's and guided the pair to sit at the table closest to them. "so, how are you? you play lacrosse, right? or am i wrong?"

“i feel like this isn’t a good idea,” belly said softly as she looked at the other. it definitely wasn’t a good idea but she was secretly hoping they would say it was. 

“well, you know, one of us is going to get the role,” chappelle said simply as they eyed the other. “i mean, it’ll probably be me but i don’t want to sound cocky ... seeing as how you just got here and all.”

she eyed the blonde from across the room and waited (not so) patiently for her brother to approach her so that she and the boyfriend he’d been raving about could finally meet. “and you must be keegan!” betty greeted the other with a smile and a hug. “oh, shit, sorry. maybe you’re not a hugger. i know alec isn’t.” she pulled away from keegan with a big smile. “i feel like i’ve been waiting forever to meet you!”
