👀 do you have any photos of germs? the people yearn for germs content
I really only have one image, which I’ve posted before:
I was shooting film in 2000. You had to buy the film and then get it developed which was a thing I had to budget for, particularly because I liked to go to places that could get my prints done in an hour. That was a premium service at the time.
So I limited myself to a roll, maybe two, per show. That meant anywhere from 24- 72 images, depending on what film I could find. Concerts are dark and things move fast, so I used film with a very high ISO. I’m also very much self taught as a photographer and I do not know much theory behind using a camera- my film camera did a lot of my work for me. But that film- which was better in low light situation, though also could look grainy- was sometimes hard to find and could be expensive.
Germs was also hard to shoot! The lighting was all purples and greens and most of the photos I took came out blurry as my camera was also meant for taking snapshots on vacation and what not and the shutter speed wasn’t fast enough to do what I was trying to do. The lighting and the costume Al wore made this song really difficult- it worked up there because I had a big telephoto lens at that show, so I could get closer.
