ignoring it, for now, he set about finding supplies to make a small camp for himself. by the time he had fashioned a small a-frame shelter made with branches and leaves and a small fire, roasting a rabbit he had caught while he was working, night had already fallen over him. wherever he was.
"you move with the subtlety of a drunken ox." he grumbled without turning around as he addressed the loud footsteps of the person approaching him from behind. "so i know you're there. no point in trying to sneak up on me now..."

A BIT OF FAIRYTALE INFO:
in the kingdom of kehl, and the black forest next to it, hunter spent most of his time outside the kindgom's walls in a modest cottage at the edge of the forest's domain. he largely kept to himself-- so much so that most people didn't even know his name and simply referred to him as the woodsman.
most of his time was spent cutting down trees to sell the wood back to the citizens of kehl or to the royal family themselves to use as lumber for whatever they needed to build-- honestly, he didn't ask where it was going. it was good coin and that was enough.
due to where he lived, he was quick to learn that not everything is always as it seems; especially when it came to the wildlife living in the black forest. most of them were called shifters and he still isn't sure if they can be trusted but that didn't stop him from being interested in them.
when the first curse took affect and brought them all to pellar's town, he had been out in the woods hunting down the big bad wolf.
A BIT OF PELLAR'S TOWN INFO:
in pellar's town, hunter still prefers keeping to himself. he works as a deputy sheriff, working underneath the town's sheriff, to keep everyone safe and keep everything in line... but when he isn't on duty, he is normally a bit difficult to find unless you know where his cabin is hidden deep in the surrounding woods-- or if you manage to catch him on one of his monthly benders where he spends one night at the bar, from open until close, drinking until he's had enough to make bad decisions.
he's always felt that something about pellar's town was off, especially some of it's residents, but he could never place why so he just assumed, for the time they were there, that it was because he wasn't a people person; not realizing it was because they were cursed.
POTENTIAL CONNECTIONS:
ONE NIGHT STAND(s): people that met him on his drunken once a month night and took him home for some fun but haven't really talked to him since.
FUCK BUDDIES: as much fun as those monthly one night stands can be, a man has needs. even though he isn't a social butterfly, he's going to need people he's connected with at least enough to be able to call on when he needs/wants a distraction or a way to let off some steam.
