  ⸤⸂ ☣ ⸃⸥ “So, Kagura, care to tell me what you were doing last night exactly?” he asked suddenly as he stood up and made his way over to her, a smile on his face. He knelt down in front of her, and reached for the tie holding her hair. In one swift motion, he pulled it out, letting that dark river flow over her shoulders.

Tossing the tie to the side, Naraku began gently running his fingers through her hair. His smile never leaving his face. “I would consider telling the truth, if I were you. It may lessen your punishment.”

Naraku's footsteps rang like the movements of armies as he came towards her, slow and deliberate as she sat there unable to do a thing. Chained, unmoving and unresponsive his long thin fingers came towards her and she flinched prepared for the worst. Yet all he did was remove the tie that held her rebellious hair in place. Gently, waves of ebony fell to surround her in a protective cloak of night. What should have been a comforting feeling however quickly became nothing more than another chill determined to annex her body as he ran those spider like fingers through her already tangled hair at a painfully slow pace.

This was sick, sick and perverse. If he was going to kill her, if he was going to torture her why not just get on with it? There was nothing she could say to change his mind, nothing she could do to force his hand, not a single thing. The way he touched her was gentle, each movement in striking contrast to his voice and intentions.
