its funny to me how warmups for instruments generally sound nice and pretty. like just basic scales or chords. the exercises i do on my guitar could be mistaken for actual music at times.

I've held me tongue in this for a bit because I've been angry about this for over a month but now the season is over, I find myself repeatedly thinking: why cut Nettles? why cut Nettles, and barely develop Rhaena, and shove her into a plot that she barely fits, that contorts around her in a way that barely makes sense, and discredits both Nettles' and Rhaena's characters? why cut Nettles, and barely develop Baela, to the point her romantic decisions this season feels half-baked and baffling? why cut Nettles and give us no information about Alan's motivations, and little appearance of Addam? why cut nettles to develop two white men dragonseeds in her stead? why cut Nettles and spend so much time on ascended Hightower OCs, Ormund and Gwayne, also both white men? why cut Nettles and yet give us twelve flavours of other minor character who have blink and you miss it appearances - you could include them, but not her, a black girl, who additionally forms a critical part of your main male character Daemon's arc? why cut Nettles, unless your core understanding of misogyny is shallow, unless you understand nothing about intersectionality, unless you think class themes are only sympathetic from the mouth of a silver-haired white man, and unless you care for nothing to do with race?
