I have given Katelabs an update for the first time in forever! This new build runs and loads much faster, a thing I've been meaning to get round to. I have also thrown in a few models from Amy In Artland to expand the library.

you've probably seen me working on this small game set in the world of the "Top Secret Neon-Pink Planet", a location that you will have seen before in some of my old games. This is a small game to entertain me in my downtime as I work on my main project- I need something that requires less brain power than the big projects so that I don't have to manage two things at once. I am taking it slow and non-serious so it might not be out for a while and I don't plan to rush.

Its name is "Tales from the Top-Secret Neon-Pink Planet (1)" and it will "re-introduce the setting" to "a new generation of fans"

My main project right now is my music album which has existed in some form since 2011. well, the name has, but the music has changed completely over the years. I have an entire first album laid out that I'm happy with. All the lyrics and such were all finalised for the most part last year, and I've been spending a lot of time working on it.

Similar to how I felt in 2015, when I was working on D.S.A, I was angry that I hadn't finished it. I was angry that I'd been aiming to finish a game for so long that I picked it up and forced myself to finish it. this is happening once again with this album. I am angry it's not done and I'm forcing myself. And it's starting to pay off. It took me months to finish my first demo. It took me two weeks to finish my second. It took me one week to finish my third.

I predict the album to be done around June or July, but bare with me if it's not! I'm spending a lot of time getting this right and I've not done any music on this scale before!

I promised myself I would not draw the album artwork or announce it or even talk about the band name until I had actually made something worth sharing, out of a distaste for announcing things and then never finishing them. If the album is announced, I garuntee it's on track to be finished.

While I've been working on the album, I've put aside (temporarily!) both Supernaturalerotic Flights-of-Fancy and Amy In Artland, solely because the two projects are on a scale so huge that it is necessary to manage them with careful to-do lists and "development schedules" and I cannot do two games and one album at once without risking half-assing one of them. The album is currently my highest priority. These games will resume development when I'm done, and they will, because I love them dearly too.
