Swedish pop star Zara Larsson goes ahead with the promotion of her long delayed international debut studio album, which is expected to be released sometime this year via Epic Records and TEN Music Group, with the announcement of new single “So Good” featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

Little Mix holds the number 1 album slot with Glory Days for a third consecutive week, making a total of 5 weeks at number 1. This week also broke the record for their fastest selling album ever – and is also the second quickest selling album of the year. It is also the quickest selling album in the UK charts by a girl group since Destiny’s Child’s Survivor in 2001 – and the quickest selling by a UK girl group since The Spice Girls’ SpiceWorld in 1997. It has also given the group their highest ever seven-day album sales.

DJ duo The Chainsmokers premiere lyric video, directed by Rory Kramer, for new sing “Paris”, out now on iTunes here. The VHS vibe video kicks off with a dictionary style definition of Paris, followed with heavy tropic scenes, of crystal clear waters and vacation style villas. The handwritten lyrics follow a bikini tanned beauty through the trees and sands. 

British pop rock band The Vamps filmed a acoustic live session of their top 40 current single “All Night”. The video set in a studio space, was released as a extra to promote the bands 2017 World Tour kicking off in the UK this April, with dates spanning Europe, Japan, Australia, and the US. After a year off, Ed Sheeran is back. The singer-songwriter decided to drop not one but two new singles “Shape Of You”, and “Castle On The Hill”, kicking off 2017!

Showcasing two very different sides to his unparalleled musical palate, Ed shared - “Hello 2017! I’ve been working hard on the new material and I hope you can be as excited about it as I am. I really wanted to show two different sides to my music that I’m equally as passionate about and I just knew I wanted to roll with two songs at the same time. I’m absolutely buzzing to be back.”

Country artists Thomas Rhett released the music video for bonus track “American Spirit” yesterday as a new years eve present to the fans. The video focuses on  a nature and home feel as well as on thomas and his beaut of an acoustic guitar.  The song can be heard on the Deluxe version of his latest album Tangled Up, released October of 2016. Thomas also performed at the New Years Rockin Eve with host Ryan Seacrest last night alongside other big names such as DNCE, Mariah Carey, Panic! at The Disco and more. Early this week rock band Black Veil Brides released a new song titled “The Outsider” via YouTube. The band has had a lot of promo lately through their various covers on Alternative Press Magazine including merch an new photos just in time for the new year. BVB is set to release an album sometime in 2017 with the release date TBA. The lyrics to “The Outsider” can be found below. The Recording Academy® and CBS announced yesterday that host of The Late Late Show and “Carpool Karaoke” creator James Corden is to host the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. Corden, having two Emmy’s, a Tony Award and a BAFTA award, has also hosted the Tony’s and Brit Awards a total of four times. Many big names had much to say on the subject of James hosting  including Jack Sussman of CBS Entertainment. "James Corden's remarkable range of talents make him a star on any screen and every stage," said Jack Sussman, executive vice president, specials, music and live events, CBS Entertainment. "We see it every night on CBS, every day on YouTube and audiences are still talking about his acclaimed performance hosting the Tony's last June. We look forward to bringing James' exceptional showmanship, infectious energy and his undeniable kinship with music to the GRAMMY stage. At the same time," . There’s no doubt about it that Corden has some big shoes to fill being the first host in five years that isn’t LL Cool J, but many have high hopes for the British comedian, actor and TV personnel.

This past week was the LA Auto Show. Ford teased their new Crossover SUV, the Ford Ecosport, across three nights of music and food in the heart of Hollywood. Night two of the event included Echosmith. It’s great to see Echosmith emerging back onto the music scene after a brief break of several months to focus on their yet to be announced album.

Band DNCE released their first official full length album yesterday morning to amazing sales. The Self-Titled Album contains 14 songs and includes their singles “Cake By The Ocean and “Body Moves”, with a running time of 49 minutes.The band started the summer of 2015 with their hit “Cake By The Ocean” and have been blowing up ever since. Front-man Joe Jonas Snapchatted the second the clock hit midnight East Coast time to celebrate the release with his bandmates JinJoo, Cole Whittle, and Jack Lawless.The ALbum can be found on apple music, iTunes and other major music streaming sites. Mickey couldn’t of said it any better. It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at Disney Parks. This year Disney is starting off the Holiday season with not one, but three musical specials originating from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California with some of today’s biggest stars. 

Viewers can ring in the Christmas spirit staring Nov. 24th, Thanksgiving night with “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” premiering on ABC. Dancing with the Stars star-siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will host the magical two-hour special, along with “Descendants 2” star Sofia Carson for some unforgettable Disney magic moments and musical performances. Top 40 charter Zara Larsson will be there to sing a holiday classic and R&B group Boyz II Men will join JoJo, for another holiday favorite from the steps of Cinderella Castle. Other performances of the night will include Alessia Cara, Flo Rida, OneRepublic and more!

The following night, “Disney Parks Presents: A Descendants Magical Holiday Celebration” will be airing on Disney Channel Nov. 25th with a Christmas twist performance of “Jolly to the Core” from the cast of Descendants. Other musical guests will include Kelly Clarkson, Forever In Your Mind, Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks.
