My Season 8 Love Island Opinions You Didn't Asked For:
I swear I was gonna post this last week, but I haven't been on here much & I had a few drafts to put together into one. I did one with S7, so I might as well. (Might be unpopular, idk)
Carl/Aniya are the only couple who gave me any kind of buzz (mainly the two big kisses in "Say Less" or wherever because they didn't have a lot of screentime).
Kayda/Zach, Kenzie/Dylan, and KC/Titi DO have chemistry. (I don't think that equally distributes to how long they'll last).
KC and Titi's Compatibility > Zach and Kayda in that one America vote was right (public has switched up and redeemed them now lol, but this result was right based on what we saw/have seen). p.s. I don't like either couple, since people think there has to be a correlation to believing in compatibility. I could still see them both lasting awhile.
Sincere is the worst man on this cast because he has actual abusive tendencies.
I do think that Zach likes Kayda..I don't really think he's the strategic game player that people are pushing as a narrative (might be a little unknowingly ill-intentioned/manipulative), but I also believe he has a lot of clear issues/problems/relationship patterns.
The hate and the takes for everyone this season has gone to overblown levels.
None of the men are actually as bad this season as people are making them out to be in a way that is not repairable, besides maybe Sincere (who's sneakily evading criticism most excellently and staying under the radar)...
But also, the men aren't that great. The truth no one wants to analyze amongst their stan allegiances is all of the men are kinda duds. They all have their own special problems, some worse than others, but because people want the Love Island fairytale, they'll hate or love people to make it fit a narrative and feed their romantic fantasies.
The "exclusive" vs "bf/gf" vs "situationship" debate is dumb af. It's logical to see how you work in the outside world before labeling a whole relationship; it doesn't mean you aren't sure of your feelings in the moment (I get how Zach makes ppl skeptical tho). I also swear being bf/gf wasn't believed to be this big a necessity on this show til this season, following Bryce/Trinity. (Let people do what fits them).
Carl being brought back was TOO producer-manipulated, I'm sry. It was clearly not planned to bring a Casa person back, but they changed it solely for Aniya to have a partner once she made her decision.
I think all of the couples are superficial (this doesn't mean fell off of looks or appearance). The basis of their connections and what some of them are willing to put up with are not deep or exceptional. Too many couples fell so hard, so fast, and I, unfortunately, see a lot of them having bad falling outs. I don't see the foundation in any of them to properly succeed post villa (but ppl won't really like this one atm, tho because they've lasted like 4 days out in the real world lol).
