2. They [think they] already did. And it’s been dealt with since the Season 2 finale. They do it in 2.08, by having Louis search for Lestat after it is revealed that he spared saved him despite the fact that the interview was centered on his grief for Claudia. Lestat killing her but not him should not have changed how Louis felt about him, at least not enough for him to seek him out all apologetic and THANK HIM for the ‘gift’. It made no fucking sense. And Louis finds poor ol’ Lestat in a similar state that Louis was in when Claudia first ran away in their NOLA days. All Lestat had to do was cry and wallow in misery for the writers to wrap a neat little bow on the matter. It so ridiculous given they had Claudia call out this behavior an EPISODE BEFORE. Who cares about the ‘why’… he feels bad!

- let’s acknowledge everyones sexual trauma except louis’ (he can get a throwaway line revealing he was molested by his cousin, no matter that something like that couldve been seamlessly incorporated in the previous seasons let’s just add it as a joke NOW)
