I want to finish my master’s degree, so I would deeply appreciate if people donate to my cause.
//Hello, everyone! I guess it is the last time I a posting this campaign, but I really need help to finish my master's degree, so I would deeply appreciate any donations. If one cannot donate, they can reblog this post.
There is a library in Hithlum, near Hurin's house. Many people do not know anything about its existence but a few people love to visit this small library. There are parchments and books that contain the knowledge gathered by the wise women of the Edain. Huor and Hurin love to go there as often as they can because they can read the texts that many reveal everything about the dark days of the mortal men before they journeyed to Beleriand. Somehow, Morwen managed to preserve the knowledge of the Beorians, having listened to the tales of Andreth through the mouths of her people.
The dark days... Huor wondered if those dark days would come again but Hurin held a different opinion. But Morwen feared, and her fear was logical. It seemed that the dark days would come again. Huor had to agree with her on that because he knew. History could repeat itself. But Rian's smile could help him forget about that, he could forget, even for a short period of time, about war. Her smile could brighten the dark days, and he really needed to think that the happy days would last. Before the fall, he could be happy with her.
And the brothers admired Morwen for preserving the traditions and the knowledge of the Mortal Men. Especially the words and the wisdom of women like Andreth. Those women could reveal the truth to those who wantyed to remain blind, because they knew what had happened to their ancestors, and they knew what could happen in the near future. Morwen was a wise woman as well, because she knew that logic was important for one's survival. She was more logical than many people Hurin and Huor had met.
They were all young, but they could think more clearly than many people, because they already knew that this peace would probably not last. Morwen and Rian had already suffered after Dagor Bragollach, the Battle of Sudden Flame. But Hurin and Huor thought that it was worth fighting for those women. They did not have to suffer any longer. But it seemed to Huor that the sadness would last because the Valar had not intention of helping the Eldar and the Edain yet. They were left alone to suffer in the war against Melkor. But he had to hope for a better future, just like Hurin was sure that, one day, the Elves and Men would win the war.

//I would really like to see more art about Hurin and Huor interracting with each other. Not with elves but with each other or with their parents. I think that painters and writers need to explore the relationship between the brothers, because they were so close together, at least in their youth.
Picture of the new pope just dropped.
//I guess that it is easier to pay via paypal, so I am giving my link for my paypal in case anyone wants to donate for my studies:

DRABBLE: NIRNAETH ARNOEDIAD
Huor paused. He had to think clearly that moment but he was so sad that the thoughts were rushing too fast. He did not know where Rian was and he could not find her. But he had to see his wife and take care of her because he knew that she was sad every time he was away from her. Until he ealised that he was barely breathing. Maybe he was already dead and he had not realised that yet.
Huor did not know where he was because he was too dizzy to understand what had just happened to him. His pain was terrible, but he had to stand up and find Rian, but he soon realised that his breathing was slow and heavy. He was under many dead bodies and he could not find the sunlight. It was too dark and he was dying.
Tuor's diary
Maeglin did not know whether he should be friends with me or not. He hated mortals but he guessed that I was different from other humans. There was a kindness in me that was so different from my father's fierceness. There was something in my glance that was otherworldly.
Maybe it was something from another world, indeed. As if I could understand something that Maeglin could not understand. And the elf was said to dislike it because he could have underestimated the strength of the human race.
I guess that Morgoth also underestimated the humans. But uncle Hurin proved him wrong. Or this is what the rumours have it. There is a strength inside us that helps us survive. It is the light at the end of the world.
Fanfic: In the Halls of Mandos
"Where is my son?"
Huor was yelling at Manods because the Vala's words were unclear about Tuor's fate. But the father wanted to know what had happened to his only child. But Mandos was not uttering a word about what had happened to Tuor Ulmondil. Ulmo would defenitely speak about his favoured mortal but Huor was already dead, dead before his son was born. In other words, the only Vala he knew was Mandos.
"Where is my son?"
But no reply came. Mandos was silent, as if he wanted to torture the mortal who was asking so much. Huor wondered if the Vala was probably thinking he was being doubted by the mortal who had found a cruel death by a venomed arrow in the eye in Dagor Nirnaeth Arnoediad. But Huor only wanted to know whether Tuor was dead or alive, he wanted to see his son for once.
"Nobody knows except Manwe and Ulmo."
Those were Mandos' words and Huor shivered by the tone of his voice. There was certainty in the Vala's uncertainty concerning the fate of Tuor. And Huor was devastated because he did not know. He only wished to see the son he had never met before. But Tuor was nowhere to be seen.
"I only want to see my son."
But Tuor was not there, and Huor was sad because he would not able to see his son. He was heartbroken because he did nto know much about his son's fate. He only knew that Tuor was somewhere between life and death, and his father did not know much about that son.
"Manwe and Ulmo will talk to you tomorrow about your son's fate."
Tuor was the first mortal to gaze upon the waves of the great Sea. He felt alive that moment. But Hurin, his uncle, is said to have drown himself in the great Sea.

Rian and Aerin|| Parallels
//I was thinking of the similarities between Rian and Aerin. Both were sensitive but this is a from of bravery as well. And their patience was also a form of bravery. I am talking about a patience about the ending of all things. Both died, of course, but they were brave enough to support their ideas in a world that was full of bloodshed. They were kind, and they suffered because of that, but their kindness helped others believe in a better world. I guess that some people mocked them for being so kind and sensitive. Turin Turambar did not understand Aerin's attitude. But I guess he understood why she acted like that in the end.
And Morwen sympathised with Aerin and Rian because she wanted to be reminded that kindness was something real. Morwen was fierce, but she needed to be reminded that sensitivity towards others was something normal. Besides, Aerin and Rian were probably the only ones who showed her some kindness after their husbands departed from Dor-lomin, without ever returning. Morwen knew that Aerin was sending help after Rian's disappearance and eventual death. I believe they were too close to each other, sending letters to each other in order to find strength in each other.
All these ladies died eventually. But they were remembered as those who stood up, in one way or another, against the evil that was still trying to corrupt their world.
