The Bible is not a history, science, sociology, or law book. It is however the Word God supplies His people to help them live a life of faith in Him. It teaches wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. The Bible also teaches us what is true and helps us to realize what is wrong in our lives. Salvation is free for all who simply believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And power over sin is a free gift for all who believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You see, power over sin is nothing to be ashamed of. That's because a desire for holiness is a hallmark of those who know God personally. To know God is to love Him (Matthew 22:37–38). And to love Him is to desire to please Him (John 14:15). Jesus makes this possible when we receive and believe the message of the Cross! But remember, unconfessed sin gets in the way of pleasing God, so a true child of God, one who believes the Gospel, can freely confess sin, repent from it, and be restored to a right fellowship with God. We see many catastrophic, violent, and painful events in this sinful and broken world. However, God does not prevent us from seeing these things as believers, but He does prevent us from being made hopeless in this world. Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior over your life is the same as commiting yourself to His service. And being a servant of the Most High, One and True Living God is a continual action on the part of a believer. COMMIT is a verb it means to roll up all your cares and fears and trust God with them. It's a powerful thing to believe the precious blood of Jesus Christ was shed for you out of His love. Jesus gave us the example of love that we are to follow. Father God promises us joy in exchange for our time here on earth if we continue in the #faith of our Lord Jesus Christ. If we know the Lord, even in times of pain and sorrow we can continue to live in faith. As Jesus suffered in the world, so shall we who believe in Him suffer for a time. And as His reward is eternal life in the heavenly realm, so is our reward who believe in Him. Therefore, KEEP THE FAITH. If you have not walked in the faith, now is time to acknowledge God's patient and gracious dealings with you, it's time to turn from self-righteousness which is false righteousness and turn towards Christ's righteousness which is pure, true, and everlasting. Jesus wants to protect our eternal souls from destruction. He is inviting us into His kingdom because He does not want us to be apart from Him forever. He is coming back soon to set up His earthly kingdom but the requirement is that we are sinless and perfect. This means we must be born again by receiving Christ into our hearts and we must claim Him as the substitute who already received the penalty of our sins and who has the right to now be Lord in our lives. It is true that He rose from the dead proving He is God and He is giving us the chance to believe and receive eternal life through belief in Him. Yes, God wants us to be reconciled to Him, so much so, that He came into the world in human form, the Son Jesus Christ, to die in our place. Please believe that Jesus is faithful and He will lead you to the truth and open your understanding of the truth as you open your heart to Him.
