I couldn’t play for a whole year.

And it wasn’t like braces where I could sound everything it would just be fluffy, no, like my middle register was just air, not even a hint of any note for a whole ass year

on the other hand, if I, hypothetically, snuck over to your house and broke in, located the room with the piano and took it apart, then loosened every single string, even if you chanced upon me during the act, there would be nothing you would be able to do except call your piano tuner. except it would be nighttime because I am a professional and your piano tuner would be asleep, so you would have to sit on your little piano stool bench thing and stare forlornly at your out of tune piano until sunrise.
