Few things make me more pro-college than seeing an intelligent influencer who never went to college starting a podcast/substack or whatever to impart their «life advice» or talk about «all the things they’ve learned», and it’s just so painfully obvious that they didn’t go through the emotional/intellectual development that college gives you. They’re just left grappling with themselves and the world without the language and maturity they could have developed if they had stepped outside their own influencer bubble. It’s interesting also because they’re so obviously successful and wealthy, and usually very very smart, but by failing to apply their intelligence to anything other than personal success and wealth they end up being very unfullfilled, without really understanding why.
