The coveralls hung loosely from his broad shoulders and narrow waist. Tyler left the front partly unfastened, struck an exaggerated pose in the mirror, and buckled the heavy tool belt around his hips.

Then his stomach pushed against it. His tight swimmer’s body softened and expanded, his belly swelling into a huge, heavy gut that sagged over his waistband.

Gray spread through his hair as his handsome young face broadened and aged toward fifty. His chest remained powerful and hairy, but his waist grew thick and solid. His mustache became fuller while deep lines settled around his eyes.

As the changes slowed his cloudy mind grabbed his items and left the changing room - pausing in front of a vanity. He lifted his belly and stared at the burly plumber in the mirror.

For one fading moment, he remembered a swimming pool, a college campus, and a name that might have been Tyler. Then the memories slipped away.

Mike frowned at himself, wondering why he had wasted so much time posing in front of a mirror. He buttoned his coveralls over his belly, checked the tools on his belt, and headed out to the van. He had three service calls left before dinner and he was starving!
