burden of the mighty

Ok so my mom is suffering with something. I’m not sure what it is, possibly bipolar disorder, since her family has a history of it, but whatever it is she has had a breakdown. in short, my mother has not left her bed for nearly a month. We have no money, and are holding on by a thread to our apartment. We can barely feed ourselves. My mother has been abused all her life by her mother, and also her ex husband. She has cracked. My ex stepfather, a known drug addict, called the police and said that we threatened him and that i tried to kill him with a knife. subsequently my mother attempted to kill herself, me and my baby sister by driving off of a bridge. and now i am afraid to leave and go to college because my mom is unstable and cannot be trusted with taking care of my baby sis, and so i may have to turn down a full ride to vanderbilt university to go to community college at home and take care of them. My mom needs treatment, but unfortunately she has no health insurance and we cannot afford it. She has no job, nor does she have the initiative to get one. I had a job, but it was only during the school year, and now that’s gone. I’ve had no luck getting a job, and even if I got one, therapy/treatment would still be way out of our budget. 36 hours at a local facility is $1500, therefore a week of treatment is roughly more than $7,000. She needs to get better. She needs to be there for my sister. She’s not even mentally here with us anymore and sometimes it feels like she’s gone. It feels like my family and their abuse have killed my mom. She will hardly even talk to me, and obviously she’s a danger to herself and maybe even us. Please help me get her some of the help she needs.
