“Auntie Liss, I need to ask you something very serious.”

Very rarely to they speak about very serious things. Sometimes they talk about things that are a little bit serious, but Emily Queen is mostly a fun-loving child who brings joy to everyone she speaks to. Felicity Smoak counts herself very lucky to be the highest on her list of favourite people, though she suspects that’s more to do with the fact that she’s the one who keeps her father in line.

“Oh, how serious?” she asks, putting down her coloring pens and giving the little girl her full attention.

“Like the most serious thing in the entire world,” Emily tells her.

Felicity didn’t say much in the van on the way home from Queen Consolidated, and Dig had taken notice. He kept shooting not-so-subtle glances in her direction, the hint of a concerned frown starting to form on his face. Felicity couldn’t meet his eyes. She could barely listen as Lyla and Nyssa discussed the evidence they’d gotten while investigating the crime scene. All she could focus on was the name on that plaque and its shocking connection to her husband. Oliver was actually Oliver Queen, the last surviving heir to one of the world’s most powerful families and a multi-billion-dollar corporation. It was absolutely unreal.

When Lyla finally turned to the blonde, it took a gentle nudge from Nyssa before Felicity paid attention. “Uh, sorry. What were you saying?” she replied.

“I was just saying that we’d like for you to come back to A.R.G.U.S. headquarters with us. You can work on the data you pulled from QC there.” In case Felicity and Nyssa needed more convincing, Lyla quickly added, “It’s the safest location, and our network has the computing power you’ll need to track down Merlyn.”

Felicity automatically looked to Nyssa, who nodded her head in agreement. “Yes, we’ll go to A.R.G.U.S.”

“Actually, we meant just you, Felicity,” Dig spoke up. He then addressed Nyssa, “Being League of Assassins, we can’t actually let you inside A.R.G.U.S. It’s a security risk. You understand.”

“It is my duty to protect Abad-eshams during this alliance. You must understand that wherever she goes, I go,” the brunette replied in challenge.

Felicity assured her, “Nyssa, it’s okay. Dig and Lyla would never let anything happen to me.”

“I do not believe they would cause you harm,” she muttered low enough for only Felicity to hear. “I do, however, have concerns about them returning you to us. Al Sah-him needs to know where you are at all times. He would not approve.”

“Yes, well, there are quite a few things I need to know about him and don’t approve of,” Felicity bit back, her voice unintentionally rising at the end…

No matter how many bad guys Star City throws at this relationship there just isn’t any going back. Let’s take a look at this two time ‘Ship of the Year’ winning couple and see why we love them just oh so much.

As she continues to date Oliver, Felicity finds out some how that she lost her memory three years ago. Turns out, she had been engaged to Oliver. WRITE THE THING PLEASE :)

She collapses onto the couch and raises her feet over the arm straight away, swinging her legs slightly as she gushes endlessly about her evening. Caitlin’s not quite as happy to hear about the night as Felicity is to chatter away about it, but she doesn’t mind all that much. She can hardly remember the last time she had such a fun evening that didn’t involve a Netflix binge (even if Netflix seems to list everything under ‘watch again’) and a tub of ice cream. “And oh, Caitlin, I haven’t danced like like that all night in years. My feet were aching this morning and-”

“Felicity…”

She sits up a little as Caitlin passes her a mug of coffee. It’s much needed. Not for the hangover but more for the fact that she didn’t get in until three o’clock in the morning because she was up all night dancing and talking and dancing and talking and…everything. “He was gorgeous, Cait,” she half moans, tipping her head back without spilling her coffee over herself. “Seriously, like Greek God level.”

But she still doesn’t pay attention to the pure excitement. Felicity doesn’t give up her point. She has to listen to her talk the guys she’s avoiding and the guys who have broken her heart and the guys she knows will one day break her heart, and this is the first time that Felicity’s gone to her about a guy that makes her feel something.

“Felicity, maybe…”

“I gave him my number,” she blurts.
