Thank you Mike! Yes I am going to have a good time (at least I hope so) and who knows what will happen. I am touching every bit of wood to hope this turns out good for me. I do have a feeling there may be one or two bad reviews, but we’ll see.

Really?! I might try them on one day. Still, I’m positive your models look way better in them.

I can honestly say you are more attractive than the models. Most models have no sense of humour anyway (at least the ones i’ve worked with), and havn’t eaten a slice of pizza in a few years.

However I respect what they do as they make clothes look good.

I did follow my Broadway career up to a point, however being a jobbing background actor is tough work when there are thousands of other actors who also want what you have.

I still may go back to Broadway for a short period depending on what is offered to me, but for now I am progressing with my other passion in life which is Fashion and i’m doing very well for it.

That’s a joke. I know my limits. And there is one thing I would love that won’t cost you a penny; Serena and Moriah playdates. Kat says she’s agreeable to play chaperone if you are okay with it, and it goes without saying that you’re always welcome to tag along.

On your second request that would be amazing and if you speak with Blaine that could probably happen a lot while i’m away. I am certain he will be agreeable to them playing together. I will of course do more play dates in person afterwards. Not sure I have time in the next few weeks, however I am trying to be more available to those i’m close to.

Oh you are going to Milan? That sounds like a good plan to hang out and get to know each other a little bit more.

That sounds like a good time though– the travelling at least.  There is always next year…or next season perhaps?

This is just me dipping my toes in with the big league designers. There are certainly other minor fashion shows I can have a presense in around the country over the next year. I also have a few contacts with famous people now that I have a base in LA so my clothing can be worn at events.

It may not be Gucci but the fact that your designs are recognised enough to be considered for fashion weeks and you’ve been invited still sounds like a big deal to me, I can’t imagine just anyone goes to these events and with all the PR you’ll be doing the business can only grow.

Oh of course that makes sense, kind of like how I like to switch up my wardrobe for the season every summer/fall. And do they have to set a theme? I mean it’s certainly a surefire way to get noticed, looking at the article you linked who knew inspiration could be drawn from construction sites. The space theme gets top marks for effort from me.

Grow it will, though I hope not too much in one go otherwise my team could get overwhelmed. I need to hire more staff to be honest once I am back and reviewed things over with my accountant. Ah the boring aspect of being a businessperson.

They don’t have to set a theme as far as i’m aware, but it makes your runway/models seem more interesting and may attract more attention in the media. Then again if you have bizarre clothing then how is it suitable to be worn outside you know.

I would say that I am ashamed of how mainstream I’ve gone with jumping on the bread baking bandwagon, but the smell of cheese rolls coming from my kitchen has made all concept of this being a guilty pleasure disappear. In entirely unrelated news, I think I’m going to need a more intense workout routine. That or someone in the NYC area needs to take some of these off my hands. 

A lot of what I hear when Serena comes to mine when she’s been with you is that your bread making skills have improved (or words to that effect). I would be happy to take more off your hands but then I know you’ll give in to your impulses and just get more.

Don’t strain yourself too much with working out, you could hurt yourself.

That sure sounds like you’ve got an exciting and busy Februari coming up. I’ll so be keeping my fingers crossed for ya that this will be your breakthrough over in Europe. 

Thanks Sam and I need all the fingers crossed to make this work and not have an epic fail like i’ve seen past newbie fashion designers make. In the end I know this will work well and my work email will be buzzing with people wanting me to make them things.

Sorry if I am boring in talking about fashion like this, I know you may not be interested in it as much.

I’m sure Quinn would agree with you, and normally I might be tempted to as well, but right now I have obligations I need a very good reason to put on the back-burner. Of course, I could use a trip to Paris as a reward once I’ve fulfilled those obligations. 

Either way, I expect a souvenir. 

Of course stick to what obligations you have and when the time is right we will go somewhere amazing and treat ourselves to whatever you want. Meanwhile give me a list of what you would like that is not thousands of dollars in price and I will see what I can do.

Daaamn, that’s so cool! Look at you doin’ the big stuff! I don’t think I’d be good enough to wear any of your clothes, but I’m sure they’re awesome!

Of course you can fit into my clothes, they would look amazing on you - especially my suits.

There is a lot of stigma around mental health and those who are LGBTQ+ - especially when it comes to those who are young teens.

Teens don’t get enough support as it is for a number of reasons, but for LGBTQ+ teens who may have a lot of self hatred in themselves or Conservative families who won’t support them. Then they feel they may have nobody in their life.

If there were these support systems in place for young people and give themselves a safe space to talk about their feelings. Then their life would improve greatly.

My life would have improved a lot if my school had supported me better. Not that they didn’t try, but there was that lack of knowledge in how to deal with a Queer kid from Ohio being bullied about being gay, loving theatre, dressing differently and being slushied near daily. This has turned into a bit of an essay but you get my point.

Sounds like 2021 is definitely looking well for you Kurt.  What happened with Paris?  If you don’t mind me asking of course.

My brand is fairly new by fashion standards and so my line wasn’t in contention for being on a runway. However that doesn’t mean I won’t go to Paris. I’ll go to London and then pop over on the Eurostar to be a bit of a tourist and do some shopping.

Certainly sounds like you’re in for a very exciting February. Will be interesting to see.

I’m certainly going to collapse afterwards and maybe hide for a few days until I realise I need to earn a living. Have you got anything exciting planned for the future?
