Did you wake up confused thinking you’d grown extra toes overnight? I probably would’ve done if I were you.

Honestly, the first couple times, maybe. But a man can only have the same recurring dream so name times.

That definitely sounds like a win, for sure. Uh, started with a cat on my head and then went downhill from there, honestly.

As someone who was once an avid babysitter; little feet to the face as long as it isn’t part of a swift kick, can be quite cute. The only time it wasn’t cute when it wasn’t a kick was after they went mud puddle jumping and conveniently ‘lost’ their shoes..

That is definitely the truth! Oh, no, not the mud puddles.... Sounds like a bath night.

I remember those days. They’re less frequent now, but every now again… 

I can’t say that I’m wishing them away any time soon. I think I’m in that stage where I just want her to be small forever.

I jumped directly to it, but I imagine there’s something daunting starting from the beginning of it all. Though, my pup does sometimes deicide to try and stand on my face some mornings.

Either way sounds pretty daunting to me. A kid is a kid is a kid. The time frame is just a little different. Oh, do they? I can imagine that’s either very cute or very painful.

Sounds way better then my usual wake up call…. Banner slobbering all over my face, ha! So totally get why you wouldn’t have it any other way. 

Serena is definitely less drooly, I have to say. 

Makes you wonder how something so small can take up so much room in the bed.  I think they grow during the night and then shrink again in the morning . Can’t wait until my girls get back from NY, so i can experience it again. 

Other than waking up with a little ladies foot in your face , hows life been treating you .  Feels like we haven’t spoken in ages. 

I think you definitely have a point there! I don’t know how they can be so squirmy and still get up so early. But, I know how much worse it is when a little one isn’t in the bed with you, so I hope the time flies until they are home. 

Hey, they are a reason why you’re up early and ready for duty! It’s a win-win situation in my eyes.

Very, very true. Especially when it means a get some morning cuddles in as an apology. 

And I thought waking up to my teenager blaring what I am pretty sure is JRock at 5 am was an interesting way to start the week.

Oo... I don’t know that I’m ready for that phase. I’m going to take getting kicked in the face any day.

It definitely is, yes. Especially since the tiny foot wasn’t immediately before a tantrum, haha. How has your week started up. 

Sometimes tiny feet can be adorable to wake up to not that I have ever experienced that. I just imagine that it would be.

They definitely can be. If they belong to a tiny human that you know. I imagine if you don’t have a child in your home that would be pretty alarming.
