The Struggles Of “Sunny” The American Cashier.

Hello Everyone! You can call me “Sunny!” For a few years now I have been working as a cashier at several different places within in the United States of America in order to make some extra spending money, which was especially helpful for college! However, I have decided that I would like to document my history and experience as a cashier in an entertaining and modern format, by creating an “incorrect” (or sometimes not so incorrect) quotes blog. For safety and privacy reasons I will not be using any real names in my quotes, giving any exact years for when I worked at different places, or giving out any exact locations of the places I’ve worked, but I will definitely be creating a full cast list of code names and a bit of background information for me, Sunny!

(One thing to know about Sunny is that Sunny has worked at two different cookie stands as part of Sunny’s cashier history. So you will have to really remember the code names of the managers to be able to tell which position was which.)

Makkhan: Sunny’s manager from Sunny’s position as a cashier at a pretzel stand in the mall.

Sunny, who has already been there for hours with a mini fan blowing on their face that isn’t really helping with the heat: I wish we could. Unfortunately corporate controls our AC, not us.

Customer: How do you stay cool?

Sunny, who has been off for several days and was definitely NOT notified of the change to the schedule, again: *texting back* Not according to the schedule I have.

Bill: I changed the schedule on Saturday. You were working that day. You should have taken a photo of the schedule.
