Good Morning

I’ve been listening to Franz Ferdinand since January 2025, which I know because I listened to the first album when The Human Fear was still like a new release. I found their music via an edit of two characters from another fandom I’m in- I was making a playlist for it, and the song (which was 40’ btw) both really fit the vibe of the characters and also Franz Ferdinand counted as a reference to the fandom, since they were mentioned once! So I was adding it to the playlist when I decided to listen to the rest of the album… then the next album… and so I listened to the entire discography and now here we are :)

It’s difficult for me to say which FF song is my favourite, since it changes basically every few weeks. Sometimes it’s a really famous one like Dark of the Matinee, other times it’s an obscure b-side like Anyone In Love. The same goes for albums and music videos- I just can’t choose lol I love them all!!!

Other things that I will probably mention sometimes include: Shoot from the Hip (an improv comedy group based in London that can be found on YouTube; this is the fandom i mentioned before), Dan and Phil (I am desperate for a Nilex!phan au. I yearn for it.), Cathedral Choir (I’m a choral scholar and soprano so I love spotting all Alex’s religious imagery moments. Not that I’m very religious but I practically live in a cathedral lol so it’s just fun spotting them), and various other things. But those are the main three.
