the smithsonian collection

this has led me to developing somewhat of an ability for figuring out what things are or might be… or at least, i feel like i’ve gotten better at it over the years

i think this is a part of the kaylor story that is so important. things being as they are, i’ve never felt great about clowning in the comments of swiftie posts, so i’ve decided to make my own blog to archive what i feel like will one day historically matter 😌 and maybe just have a space for us to have fun.

it comes up in an image search on a boutique page but upon a click through, the page no longer exists, which suggests it’s unique and recently purchased

and while the ring is no longer listed on the boutique website, i took a look at the wayback machine and the page itself was crawled several times starting april 2025, with the most recent crawl being february 2026. seems like a good window for a recent buy!

here’s what the description was:

there is a boutique in nolita named Love Adorned. for mother’s day 2023, they put out an instagram ad with some vintage mother’s day charms. (please note that they are photographed at a bit of an angle)

taylor was initially seen wearing the charms several times in september 2023. so, it makes sense for it to have been bought here around the time of the mother’s day sale and then worn soon after, no?

and upon comparison, it looks like a close shape match to this photo for example:

and it looks like an inverse of the pendant photo that we originally saw.

the angle of the wording and the respective asymmetric thickness of the lines. but maybe her charm had been put on backwards accidentally that day or something, after all, MOM looks the same backwards and forwards. also, you can see how the connecting hardware is really similar! this is actually something i had a hard time finding matches for when i was searching around for matches at the time. also, the mixed metal coloring feels the same! a yellow gold with rose gold lettering

flip it around… and voila!

i would be remiss if i didn’t point out the various cartier pieces karlie wore to the oscars parties!

while getting ready she wore juste un clou earrings, double, paved, as well as an etincelle de cartier ring. to the party she switched up and wore a coussin de cartier ring. im guessing cartier sent over the bottle of champagne as well!

there aren’t necessarily kaylor pieces but i like them so im gonna ID them!

taylor’s necklace is a choker from joanna laura constantine and i just love the style but it doesn’t appear to be on sale presently. and one of her rings is the Inner Space Ring from SANAMAMA (isn’t it cute?) i guess it sorta works with the theming of taylor being carried away into the sky on ropes, a little bit of an alien abduction vibe, mayhaps.
