usually he stays in his tent when regressed. he's not one to crawl out and be open about his regression because he doesn't want to burden anyone.

I like to think that astarion and halsin take care of him :3 and he cares for them if they are regressed

he's a big cry baby when regressed. he fell? tears. he lost something in his maze of books? crying. big thoughts invading his space? sobbing.

likes to be held and soothed with sweet words

back rubs are a must and big hugs too

pacifiers and stuffies are a big help but not 100% going to work

he gets nightmares sometimes so that can make him regress and cry

he tries to hold it back as much as he can. he'll bite his lip and shake his head in denial if someone asks if he is upset before breaking down

if he's really little, he does need a nappy

he's good at hiding his regression until he's alone. when he is, he drops pretty hard

tara was his caregiver before being tadpoled! well more of an emotional caregiver since she is just a tressym but she makes sure he was eating/drinking, providing him company, and would read books to him

he likes to pet her and giggles up a storm when she purrs

she's good at comforting him when he cries. often makes biscuits on his tummy and licks his tears. headbutts him gently to let him know she's here for him

toys aren't really his thing. just sit him down with a book or play board games with him!

building blocks and things like that don't capture his attention for long. like 2 minutes and then he'll whine about being bored

in game, he says his knees hurt (when he is sneaking) so i tend to think that maybe the pain can cause him to regress as well

he had a brace for it and he forgets to wear it sometimes when small until someone puts it on him

can make him cry if its really bad :^(

🔧 Karl is not overly affectionate...in the "normal" way. He is playful and loves to tease. Playing with you is his kind of love language.

🔧 Calls you "kid", "kiddo" and "sweet thing".

🔧 He is way more suited for someone in an older headspace, however he wouldn't mind too much if you were in a younger one. Younger means easier to keep safe.

🔧 Sailor mouth! But apologizes every time. He tries to keep the curse words at a minimum near you.

"SHUT YOUR FUCKING HOLE- Oh, shit, SHIT. Sorry, kiddo."

🔧 He's always in his workshop, and he made you your own so you can work on your own things! However, he works on his Soldats, and you work on...drawing. Just as important, to be honest.

🔧 Sturm is gentle toward you. Sturm. Gentle. Laughable, isn't it?

🔧 He doesn't have to worry about you wandering off, as Soldats scare you.

🔧 His factory is huge, and getting lost is common. However, after the third time, he'd stick a bright red balloon on you [with a tracking device inside] whenever you had to go deeper into the factory. In the event of getting lost, you're too enamoured with the balloon to notice, and finding you is as easy as pie.

🔧 He's not the type to get too physically affectionate, but he enjoys sitting down and letting you sit on his lap as he works on blueprints.

🔧 Knows his way around words and how to barter with you. Bedtime is essential, BUT in return, he'll read you a story.

"Alright kiddo, we're gonna read..."If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"? Who gives mice cookies, for fucks sake..."

🔧 If you draw something, he'll turn it into a reality. Because of this, you have a strangely horrific unicorn robot thing roaming around the factory, and its "neighs" are something out of a horror movie, but it loves to give you rides on its back, and it keeps the Soldats in line. [Its horn will stab them through the heart if they don't live up to Karl's standards, or if they're misbehaving.]

🔧 He knows that being violent right in front of you is cruel. So if a Soldat accidentally hurts you, he'll "scold it". When you're out of sight, he kills it. Heisenberg scolding a confused Soldat and telling it to "apologize" is a funny look.

🔧 He despises Miranda and keeps you far away from her, in case she uses you against him.

🔧 His Lycans are like pets to you. They love to play fetch. Although they fetch human bones as opposed to toys...so Karl facepalms every time and gives them deadly expressions as he hugs you close.

🔧 Communicates with you through televisions. If you manage to get ahold of cable he'll sometimes hack into the television and dub the cartoon you're watching. Bluey became way more interesting after he dubbed it.

He uses this to his advantage, however. In your room, there's a television, and it's more so used as a communication device rather than something to watch. It's like a baby monitor. If you have a nightmare, or can't sleep...he'll know. He does not mind reading out his blueprints to you or telling you about his plans. His voice is quite calming.

🔧 Gets mad at Sturm if Sturm disturbs your sleep, as Sturm is very loud sometimes...and can be heard from another floor.

🔧 Loves to play games with you and his Lycans. Hide and seek, tag..."Where the Hell did Papa Heisenberg Leave His Goddamn Screwdriver" is a very common game, though.

🔧 Doesn't really care what his title is. "Papa", "dada" and "daddy" are all fine to him.

🔧 They don't talk much, however Donna once made a doll for you, and he got jealous. On your bed you have a cute little porcelain doll named "Stella", and beside it is a doll made up of metal, gems and pearls stolen from someone he knows...

[He still laughs about hearing Alcina's scream all the way from his factory. She STILL has no idea where her pearls went]

-Redd is practically family to you! (I mean, he calls you his “cousin” after all!)

-So obviously, when he finds out that you regress, he’s super supportive and respectful!

-Maybe he’s a little confused on how to be a caregiver at first, but he’s got the spirit to give it a try!

-The first time he saw you regress was perhaps while you were browsing his wares and the pressure of deciding what to buy made you break down into tears

-Or maybe you ran off to your secret beach, your own personal hide out, after a particularly hard day to let a few tears fall without anyone noticing

-Whatever the reason, the usually sneaky and shifty fox showed some concern when he saw you in such a sad state

-“Hey cuz… Why don’t you sit down…”

-He would hesitantly say, not wanting to scare you

-He would set you up on the floor, wrapped in a random blanket he was going to sell

-He may not be above scamming people, but he has a heart. Redd wanted to make sure you were ok

-After finding out that you regress, he would try his best to take care of you

-Anytime you started regressing, he would take you into his boat to give you a safe place to regress

-His nickname for you is “Little cousin,” (simplified to “Lil’ cuz”)

-He would show you the paintings he’s selling, as art can be very calming, even if most of them are fake copies of famous artworks

-Redd will let you sit on the floor and play with the toys he was probably going to sell. Now, they are gifts from him to you.

-He’s the best with snacks and he always has some on board so you two can eat together

-Wraps you up in a blanket burrito every time you regress around him

-If you are having a bad day and are crying, he will scoop you up and hold you close saying something like “There, there Lil’ cuz, I’ve gotcha.”

-He likes to play peekaboo and hide and seek with you

-You also play store! You’re the customer most of the time, but sometimes he’ll let you use his real cashier so you can play as the seller!

-Likes to make you giggle with silly stories

-Always ruffles your hair

-He likes to spoil you, though he’d never admit it

-He always sends you home with something, whether that be a snack or a small trinket

-All in all, he’s a great caregiver and he will always look out for you!

I had a little bit of trouble getting back into making content, but now that I’m feeling slightly better, I decided to get back to them!
