Also, you may be wondering why I included Zooble in this. I think that maybe Zooble did put the virus into the computer(as I stated earlier) that TADC is inside of because they knew something wasn’t right. And that could also be why Caine hates Zooble so much. Caine knows what Zooble did, and thus dislikes them, just like how he treats Kinger better than the others because he (presumably) was one of the creators of the circus. That could also be the reason why Zooble hasn’t abstracted yet despite quite a few things being stacked against them. Zooble brought Bubble into the circus, so Bubble is showing “gratitude” in some sick way, keeping Zooble around so they could watch the circus collapse as Caine loses his mind. (Plus, Zooble and Zulu sound scarily alike.)

And Bubble could perhaps have gotten so deep into the circus thus far to the point where not even Caine can distinguish whether or not Bubble is a virus or a part of the circus. The further Bubble’s control reaches, the less Caine has, the more Caine goes insane, and the less stable the circus becomes. Plus, Bubble acts more different as time goes on.
