- you can never go wrong with gift cards (A gift card to a book store or their favorite place to eat!!!)

- send them a snuggly blanket since you can’t keep them warm this season

- fill a notebook with things you love about them and your favorite memories with them

- get them a promise ring or a promise necklace!!!

- give them one of your favorite things (like your favorite stuffed animal or bottle of perfume or literally anything) so they can feel closer and have something that you love

- A cute picture of you (I’m old school and I swear if my gf sent me like a Polaroid picture of herself I would sob)

- Just a cute love letter!!!

- make them something (A poem, a song, a little writing piece, a painting, a drawing)

- A bag of Hershey kisses because you cant kiss them right now!!!

      Now why are you jealous, Elliott? You ought to know by now that you are the most wonderful guy that I know, and of course I wouldn’t trade you for the world. You mean everything to me, and I can’t imagine throwing all of this away for anybody. You are by far the most handsome, cutest, sweetest, most loving, most caring, best looking, most genuine, most AMAZING person I have ever met, let alone dated!! You could do so much better than me, but I am so blessed to have this chance with you, love. So you never have to worry about me leaving you for someone else or even flirting with somebody else! I would not want to mess up something as special as this. So stop worrying, goofball!!!

Holy crap we’ve been dating for an entire year now! I can’t even tell you how happy it makes me to know that you’ve been mine for a year. You’ve shown me what it means to be in love and to be in a happy, healthy, loving relationship and I honestly can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. I am so very glad that a year ago Cassidy helped get us together and that you somehow managed to deal with me for these past 12 months. I know I can be a handful and a pain, but you found a way to tolerate me and love me, and I’m so grateful for you. You really are the best thing that has ever happened to me, El. I hope that we have many many more years together, baby. You’re my best friend and that’s what makes us work so well. You’re the first person I want to see in the morning (even when I’m grumpy because, y’know, mornings), the last person I want to see at night, and the person I wanna hang out with in between.
