I hate when kids/teens any younger than about 18 come to our meets, and it’s even worse when they drag their mom along. Half the time they are barely even wearing lolita, and all they do is ruin our group photos and make people feel awkward

I’m so happy Tyler is back doing LWLN again, and the blonde hair suits her. I missed her content, and now I’m hoping she’ll go back to reporting on drama.

Theres a man in our comm that I wish would leave. He has worn the fashion for years but still looks unkempt and any time he opens his mouth it’s to mansplain something. I don’t know if he’s a fetishist or just super autistic. I don’t hate him or whatever but he makes me so uncomfortable

The only thing more annoying than people bringing young kids or babies to a meet is comm members bitching about how much they hate kids ALL THE TIME. Hate kids if you want, lolita meets are no place for them, but goddamn you don’t sound ~not like other girls~, you sound like bitches.

Something about all of this feels like the drama that ended all dramas. No more BTB, LC thread is either just infighting or dead, ddz is still a weirdo, discord crew are weirdos, nothing has changed.

For a brief moment, people were on board with boycotting purchases from China due to the concentration camps, but that all changed following a blog post that pointed out, genuinely, how some uninvolved citizens would be affected by such a boycott, and people used that to justify shopping and went straight back to mass purchasing from taobao, acting as if supporting China's economy doesn't enable the government to continue its genocide. I hate that for us as a community.

I stopped interacting with all the Facebook groups because of the seagull lolitas that run them and spending more time with my local comm instead. It’s been a great decision, I think we all need to go back to focusing on the fashion not the drama.

Different anon from those in secret 56, but I also found it alarming how homophobic (and specifically lesbophobic) the #seagull users were. / One of the girls who was making homophobic statements is a mod in my comm and I haven't been to meets since the discord leak dropped because, as a bisexual, I just don't feel comfortable associating with someone so bigoted like that.

Agree with anon who wishes we could comment here. Ig you can make a fake/burner tumblr but the point of BtB has always been the anon discussion. There really is no good platform anymore.
