Guys...we have POSITIVE articles. Several.
And, here's the kicker: they're from STATE MEDIA—aka, not a source that can be paid off. One article was posted by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). China Reform Network has high political standing and authoritative credibility, according to CN players. Because I'm in the US, I can't access the article directly.

The Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation also posted on Weibo saying, "The new character Ao Yin has not been found to violate China's regulations on game content management. Based on the evidence, it can’t be proven that 'Love & Deepspace' engaged in false advertising." Basically, they confirmed that adding a 6th LI did not violate any kind of consumer law, nor was it grounds to claim false advertising.
A CN user on X also offered some speculation on the nature of the smear campaign. Here is the link to the post and a summarized translation (which is pasted below).
In summary, what this post is essentially saying is: Anyone who engaged in rumor mongering, smear tactics, mass negativity, fake engagement or even attacks on Love or Deepspace may have themselves broken Chinese laws and regulations.
Sachi makes clear that there are Chinese regulations that prohibit: dissemination of any false information regarding a business, harming the reputation of a business, organization of malicious reviews or harassment online, use of bots, paid accounts, AI-generated posts, and "water armies" to shape public discourse, exploitation of controversies in connection with major product releases. This post further contends that an attack on a successful Chinese game with such an international following runs counter to China's very objective of exporting their cultural and entertainment content abroad.
The bottom line being…if the anti-Valko campaign involves coordination, misinformation, and/or reputation attacks, then it may very well be the orchestrators of the movement who are in violation of Chinese law and policy, and not the individuals supporting the character. Again, the post is not making any claim about this having been legally established. It's simply pointing out that, based on a sufficient chain of evidence, there could be grounds for an investigation.
This is HUGE. All of this is paving the way for Infold to bring Valko back. There is light at the end of the tunnel!
HOWEVER! The war isn't won yet. Keep boycotting, keep protesting, keep being loud. The Chinese media has noticed us, and that means Infold has too. Don't stop here—if anything, this is the time to push harder.

I’m taking a momentary break from protesting to analyse Valko and Mc.
This is a yap so I’ll leave it below the cut.
Their story is still a mystery to us for now but so far I love the themes that I have been seeing and it makes me want to know so much more.
As we know Valko seems to love everything that is bad for him. He loves chocolate and Lilly of the valley even though those are both poison for wolves/dogs. In his myth trailer MC feeds him a grape which is highly toxic to dogs but he let’s her feed it to him anyway.
He loves these toxic things the same way he loves MC. She is his enemy, his poison, and yet he can’t get enough of her, possibly even at the cost of his family. As in the song we hear the lyrics “I should follow what the elders say, but you’re locked in me.” There’s likely disapproval here but he can’t help himself.
It makes me wonder just how poisonous MC is to him? What about their relationship could bring disapproval and harm?
In the main story it’s likely due to her being a hunter and his company being linked with ever.
But what about their myths?
I can’t guess anything really with the information we have but what if there is something about MC that is actually killing him? Or that has killed him in their past?
What is happening in this scene? What is this light they have cupped between them? And why does he have multiple references to the end of the world?
I’d be very interested to know if there is a Chinese myth that this could be inspired by.
And then there is the wolf and raccoon representation for them both. I did a quick Google search to see if anything interesting came up and this got me thinking.
I wonder if mc was someone that Valko was expected to hunt or keep in check for the safety of others?? Perhaps his family or maybe his home in general. But her being his mate put him in the position of killing her for the life of others and himself, or saving her.
Am I reading way too much into things? And could this be wrong? Almost certainly lmao. But until he is released and we get his myth and story I won’t stop thinking about this.
It's a fascinating analysis, one I personally like.
Now, I'm a dog owner, and I'll be honest with you, I often have one hell of a time making sure my dogs don't eat anything that'll make them sick. Like If I make the mistake of placing a bag of Hershey Kisses on the couch alone for a couple of minutes, you bet when I come back half of the bag will be gone with a dog sitting next to it while licking their chops.
Or making sure they don't chew on plastic.
Or making sure they don't go antagonizing the skunks and rattlesnakes.
If not taught better, dogs don't care if it's poisonous to them or not. If it moves and squeals, that dog is going to be hyper focused on that thing because it is new and interesting. It's Prey drive and curiosity. Why do dogs run after cars if not taught not to? Because it's a chase. Dogs LOVE thrill. They like new things, and they hate anything stagnant.
Something I noticed when lurking through the current drama of Lads and especially regarding Valko is the complaint, fear, and emotional responses of conflicting information. Leading to the response of: "This is all so confusing. What do I do?"
First things first. Calm down and take a breather, grab some coffee and chocolate or anything that'll help settle your nerves for the moment, and allow me to tell you something.
When it comes to conflicting information, it's usually best to start with what info does line up and what you do know to be true. Start with the bases, basically. Then start the logic chain from there, facts, and reason over biased opinions and emotions responses. You'll find that once you kinda detach yourself from the situation and start thinking from logical progression, everything starts to be a little clearer.
Second, don't rely on just one post for information. Verify with your own eyes and efforts about what exactly is going on. This is the age of information. You have the power at your fingertips to search and dig up whatever information you could possibly want. SCRUTINIZE the posts and information under a cynical eye--act like you're a fucking health inspector for a 5-star restaurant and you're wanting spotless perfection. Hell, scrutinize and critique this post! Find the oddities! Find the common denominators! Because those are going to be the key to your logic chain and critical thinking.
Example. You see a post saying that the boycott is over. K, but then you notice another post that is saying continue boycotting. What do you do in this situation?
You search it up. You look through posts and media and notice the common denominator. The boycott is still going on. It's just that the black out is over. Now, it should be noted that although the boycott is still going on, strategies and guidelines for the movement right now are changing constantly. And rightfully, it gets confusing, so back to basics.
Simplify what you know: Currently, what do we know about the situation? Valko's was supposedly Canceled, there's a boycott going on to bring him back, and the Chinese Government is currently breathing down Infolds neck. Okay, let's start there.
Anyone who has dealt with anything related to government matters immediately knows this shit takes time. You HAVE to do things their way, no ifs and-slash-or buts, and unfortunately, their way is tedious because they go through EVERYTHING. So even if Infold wanted to release Valko now, they wouldn't be able to. It's strange that some of our Hunters here seem to forget this fact.
The CN Media and Platforms. Understand that their rules and guidelines are much stricter and more different than ours. Especially now with their gov involved. Naturally, you have to be extra careful in what you say and do on there. My advice would be to check in with a fellow Hunter, preferably a local as they would know best, who has a true grasp at what exactly is going on there before actually posting on those platforms.
Valko's cancelation admittedly seems rather odd no matter how you look at it. From stubbornly saying that they wouldn't be removing him, to then announcing that he's canceled just a few days after is a drastic change up that doesn't seem right. Not to mention HOW they announced it raises a brow because it did not look as professionally and cleanly as it should have been.
The game is buggy and laggy as all hell. Rushed and sloppy, that was the update, no doubts there's pictures and videos to show that, but WHY is it rushed and sloppy? That's the important part, the whys and the hows.
I am not telling you what you should or shouldn't do, I am merely here to say that getting swept up in the maelstrom of emotions and confusion is exactly what the Antis want. They WANT you to be confused, and they want you to make a mistake in that confusion. The Devil is in the details, remember?
So be a critic. Judge the information you are getting like you were presented with a plate of food on Hell's Kitchen and your one of the judges. See if it has the right ingredients, the right amount of seasoning, and the right presentation. Make sure it has the lamb sauce and isn't fucking raw.
I did another tarot reading just now asking what is Infold doing right now to bring Valko back?
And it is a MUCH better answer than what I was seeing last night.
King of pentacles feels very much representative of Infold. It is a masculine energy that is very much leadership and business oriented. It’s also a reminder to stay in control in pursuit of your goals. This makes me feel like whatever is happening, infold is feeling more confident about it now and that is only confirmed to me by the next card.
Page of wands is a youthful energy, it is excitement and fearlessness to pursue new ideas. Infold seems to be coming into more control of the situation or perhaps they have finally found the direction that they want to take. And whatever it is it feels exciting.
We also have the magician here which funnily enough I pulled in my last reading. The magician is manifestation, willpower and hard work. They’ve grabbed hold of the reigns and they intend to take control. They are trying to steer things down this path they have chosen and they are working for it.
Eight of pentacles confirms this. This card is all about hard work, dedication and buckling down to achieve goals. A part of a description of this card that stood out to me was this “There is a possibility that there will be a lot of things you need to address.”
They are well aware that they need to communicate but they either aren’t ready just yet or there is something stopping them. But they are working hard and feeling good about things.

Justice is about truth, HONESTY, accountability. “When a reading shows the figure of justice it is time to account for your actions.” The truth must come from Infold and not from the rumours spread by others. They are aware of this. This could happen soon, it’s not definitive. But they are very aware and I would bet on hearing something within the next couple weeks.
Again, not definitive, but that is the energy I get from this.

As someone with a lot of anxiety I find it hard to maintain public accounts like this. The interactions on my posts can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially if they’re confrontational or if I’ve made mistakes. Often times my response is to delete the account when the anxious thoughts get too much. I’ve deleted more accounts than I can count lmao.
Last night I started having those very thoughts, feeling overwhelmed and embarrassed every time I made even the most basic post, thinking about the replies from antis I’ve had on X, thinking I wasn’t making a difference and that my posts should be taken down.
But I refused to do so because even if I’m making mistakes or my posts on certain platforms don’t have much reach, I am still contributing. Every post even if it’s small adds to the noise and makes us louder. Misinformation can be deleted and corrected, antis can be blocked, and every post can inspire at least one more person to keep going.
So fuck anxiety and fuck you to all the people who lied about Valko. I ain’t going anywhere and I will be in your damn walls shouting to bring Valko back }:)

Valko appearing on the ninth was a longshot. Infold has had two major holidays, been at AX, and is still under investigation. This whole thing, because of *content has never been as simple as 'oh we can just push him out without issue if there's enough hype'.
We have to remember it is much, much bigger than that.
I have already seen a lot of disappointment and spiraling, and I am here to remind you to breathe.
Spiraling before any announcements gets you no where.
Yes, I know the silence is frustrating. Yes, I know how exhausting it has been looking for correct information and only having Infold post on XHS. I am right there with you.
But you have to remember that when the government is this involved, they have to be careful.
Valko hasn't been fully taken down - including their own discord channel. Valko's WU is also still there. Once the system is up, someone can confirm if the 'Coming Soon' is still under the LIs. Last I heard it was.
We cannot spiral. We can keep pushing.
