Thanks for that. I was searching for Kamen Rider and 仮面ライダー so it’s no surprise I didn’t find them. I’m just a derp. I’ll start working on these after Halloween since I’m a bit behind on other subbing/translating projects and hope to get those sorted out before November happens.

It doesn’t seem like it would be too much work, so I’d be interested in at least doing a few. I did find the scripts and have them saved now, but maybe I’m bad at searching or something because I could not find a raw for any one of them on nyaa. I even asked multiple times on that thread if anyone could point me in the direction, but the only response was someone who basically pointing at me and saying “hey, guys, this person can help us, can’t anyone help them?” and he, too, was ignored. I wonder if you could do me a favor and point them out to me? It’s fine if they have subs (like foreign subs or terrible subs or whatever), they just need to not be hardsubbed.

I know I’m not supposed to make jokes about this sort of thing, but it’s extremely difficult for me to see this as a man helping a kid get to the window...

This episode features the children’s song Kagome Kagome, which, if you’re unaware, has some potentially creepy lyrics (like Ring Around the Rosie secretly being about the plague). They’re also extremely vague lyrics, with lots of things open to interpretation. So I translated it to fit the episode as best as I could, which means some parts are weird. ... Who am I kidding, though? They’d have been weird even if I just slapped Wikipedia’s translation into the episode.

I have a lot of other projects I want to focus on in my free time after I finish Dark Fantasy (some aren’t tokusatsu, and a lot aren’t even related to fansubbing), so I’m going to be a disappointing person and say no, I probably won’t. I will watch that raw you mentioned, though. I admit that I know nothing about Akio Jissoji but it’s starting to sound like he’s something special.

Also, a cool friend of mine volunteered to time the rest of the episodes (also this one), which is a thing I always wanted to not do, so maybe it won’t take a million years for me to finish the rest of the episodes.
