I have held back for the longest time from reading The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery, but last night I suddenly thought about it. All I can say is: why only now, when I love it so much?

soft nervous system reset
so far, i've been dedicating this season to regulating my nervous system. i find myself more balanced and harmonized when doing so. here are some key tips to a successful soft nervous system reset:
letting yourself hum quietly or with music. this allows vibrations to soothe from within. breath + sound = nervous system bath.
holding something warm in your hands for longer than usual. not drinking, just holding. this is grounding through warmth and weight.
wearing soft, loose clothing. wear comfortable clothes and get your pajamas a size up. by removing what constricts, it relieves your skin and softens your entire body.
watch fire, waves or candlelight. taking deep breaths while doing this relaxes your nervous system completely. your brain slows down and your body follows the rhythm.
lying on warm ground or resting your head against a tree. getting grounded with the earth is a must.
closing your eyelids and letting the sunlight rest on you. this gently signals safety to your whole nervous system. it's rest even when you are awake and a great source of vitamin d.
lymphatic massages. doing these consistently release all tension and drainage in your body. perfect for detoxing and sculpting your body. this is nervous system regulating from the outside.

I had Gemini generate me the house where Anne Shirley stayed in Windy Poplars. I love the place where Anne stayed, it seems homely and cozy.
Hopefully someday I'll have my own houseπ‘

In this month of June I have uninstalled both my facebook and Instagram applications. Hopefully I won't get enticed to install them again because truly it feels liberating:)

I just finished my group reporting in Filipino 3, and I'm feeling disappointed. I felt like I wasn't able to answer the questions properly and correctly. We were also not able to prepare a projector, and we just did it with a laptop. It's freaking disappointing.

They say that until you learn the lesson, it will keep repeating again and again. This couldnβt be more true during a school examination, where I kept regretting my answers because I listened to other people instead of trusting and having confidence in my own efforts in studying and reviewing.
One instance of this was when I was the only one who answered my paper in Credit and Collections without being tempted to follow others. I got the correct answer, and I was the only one who did.
Lesson learned: I must learn to answer on my own and not depend on someone else, because relying too much on others can lead me away from what Iβve actually studied and understood. Trusting myself means having confidence in the time and effort Iβve invested in preparing. Itβs important that I make decisions based on what I know so I can grow, learn from my mistakes, and take full responsibility for my own success or failure. Only then will I truly improve, not just as a student, but as a person.

Moments like these invite us to pause, breathe deeply, and marvel at the beauty of the world that surrounds us. Whether it's the steady rhythm of the waves or the stillness beneath the trees, these snapshots are an ode to the simplicity and grandeur of nature.

Practice saying no to yourself. You may be worried about hurting others' feelings, as you know the sting it can cause, but it is important to set boundaries. These boundaries protect what you value.
If they really wanted to, they would.
If you apply pressure, they'll do what you want them to. if you take the pressure off, you'll see what they'd rather do. Never waste your life fighting what someone would rather do. Let them go. Move on. Do better.
When things get tough, remember you have the resilience to stand strong. Let God be your support. Place your trouble on Him. Allow God to bring ease to your heart. You deserve peace of mind.

In shadows cast by scorn's disdain,
A figure forged from pride's refrain.
Once mocked, now mirrored, irony's guise, Their former foe now their disguise.
In mirrored depths, they see the face,
Of one they spurned with careless grace. Their scoffs, their sneers, now echo back,
In mirrored pools of self-attack.
They walk the path they once derided,
With every step, their pride subsided.
For in becoming what they despised,
They find the truth they once denied.
With humbled heart and softened gaze, They navigate life's winding maze.
For in the mirror of disdain,
They found redemption's gentle reign.
So let us learn from this tale told,
That judgments cast may yet unfold.
For in the end, we all must see,
The mirror reflects who we can be.
