Off With Their Heads.

“Oh, Vallie–” A wide smile broke out on her face and she brushed her knuckles across her blushing cheek. “Of course I want to! I mean, really, my lease doesn’t end until August, but yes!” She leaned forward and kissed her quickly. “Of course I wanna move in with you, babe.”

Vitani tried not to flinch when she heard the gun go off.  She still wasn’t use to guns going off.  She smiled when the goon backed off and called the other goons off and left the scene.  “Thanks” she said rubbing her throat.  “I think their gone for good so you can put that away” Vitani said nodding to the gun.

Valentina nodded, sliding the pistol into the side of her bag. “You’re good, right?” She asked afterwards. “Oh, trust me, it’s hidden but in plain sight, if they decide they want to follow us, their heads are getting blown off.”

“Giving me a difficult time right off the bat, huh?”, Shenzi asked once her eyes landed on the person Valentian was referring to. “Alright, what’s the challenge?”

“No one said I play easy,” Valentina smirked, eyeing the girl for a moment before quickly glancing over to the man. “See that watch of his? That’s two grand. Now it’s child’s play to get it off, but his chain? That pretty little platinum ten grand chain, that’s the challenge. And he doesn’t look like someone who’s necessarily approachable.” 

She smiled as the brunette took her hands, half happy for the contact and half happy for the warmth. Andrina raised both their intertwined hands, kissing her knuckles before pressing them into her cheeks. At the question, she gasped slightly, lifting her head away from their hands, smiling widely as she processed the question. “You want to move in together?”

She couldn’t help but grin at Andie’s contact, how gentle she always was with her. Valentina let out a soft sigh, her thumbs lightly stroking the back of the blonde’s hands, until she was hit with a wave of heat towards her face, knowing very damn well she was blushing, profusely. “Y-Yeah,” She stammered, biting back a smile. “I wanted to wait because I didn’t just want to spring that out of nowhere, you know? What do you think?” 

Vitani was having a hard time getting the goons to stop.  Normally they would back off as soon as they when they heard her voice or felt her get between them.  One of the goons grabbed Vitani and pushed her against a tree.  “You should really stay out of it” the goon said.  Normally Vitani would spit at the goon or fight back but then she saw a girl walking past.  She formed a smirk.  She need to show the goon that he shouldn’t mess with her.  “Ow you’re hurting me” she called out hoping that the girl would stop or at least call out for help.

If there was one thing that Valentina detested in the world was when a man dared to put his hands on a woman in a violent manner and while she’s had her fair share of it, this caused the brunette to opt for another route. Rather than using her brass knuckles she dug deep into her backpack, clicking the safety and pointed her pistol in the air, firing off a warning shot towards the goon that held the girl down. “Back off,” she simply said, her dark brown eyes fixed intensely on the man. 

“Pick our first target.”, Shenzi said as her eyes scanned the area. That question she was being asked was what made her look at Valentina again. “You don’t but trust me. If I do, you probably can handle it.”

“That big guy over there,” Valentina said without having to look up much. She looked over at Shenzi and nodded at her. She was pretty impressed, after all. “Game on,” She simply said. 

Pulling Valentina up, she leaned into the kiss. “Mhmm?” Part of her brain was distracted wondering how one person could be so warm, but she was pulled from her thoughts as she watched the brunette bit her lip. “Well I can’t consider it if you don’t ask me, yeah?”

Valentina smiled and nodded, humming against Andie’s lips with a soft, “Mhmm,” as a response. She sighed and nodded at the girl’s response, taking her hand as she intertwined her fingers. “I was wondering if, you’d maybe consider...moving in with me once the semester’s over?” 

Vitani was on her way to one of her business classes.  They were actually one of the classes that she cared about while she was here.  She might even continue them once she finds Kyle and they can go back home.  As she was walking towards the building her class was in she saw a couple of her step father’s goons attacking someone.  Vitani knew she should keep walking but in her mind five on one wasn’t fair especially if they weren’t use to fighting like she was.  “Ok.  I think they’ve had enough” she said starting to pull the goons off.

Valentina was well on her way to class, chatting her head off with her Nonno about business deals and what needed to be done from the comfort of her own home, but suddenly, she had noticed a commotion and a rather small girl go in and try to break up the fight. After mumbling that she’d call her Nonno back, she seemingly walked past the fight with a casual glance, shoving her hands in her pocket. If anyone tried anything as she tried to get around, it’d be a brass knuckle to the face.

Biting her lip, she looked up. “I like it when you sound domestic–I get to see a part of you that no one else does.” After a moment of thought, Andrina stood up and offered her hands to Valentina. “Come on, I like the idea of looking through some cookbooks. Besides, I think getting up and moving will help me.”

Val couldn’t help but smile at the compliment as she took Andie’s hands and slowly stood up, wrapping her arms around the blonde and pressing a kiss to the girl’s lips. “Many reasons why I love you. Only you get to see this side of me,” She smirked. “Speaking of moving...” She bit her lip. “I have a question for you. An important one and you don’t have to answer me right away, but I want you to...maybe consider the offer?” 

“That’s been my life. Giving up nearly everything and experiences for them. But they’re old enough now I shouldn’t have too. It’s just gaining that all back that’s .. a challenge of sorts.” She admitted with a small shrug. It was probably the most honest she was about it all.  “Yeah, thankfully. I shouldn’t rely on someone that much, but .. It’s needed.” Looking towards her Nani nodded, running a hand through her hair. “Fair enough, and understood.” 

“That’s understandable. It’s a shock to the system. It throws off your routine. Let’s be real, you won’t ever stop mothering  your siblings because it’s in your nature, but no shame in finding who you are by experiencing life the way you were supposed to,” Valentina added with sincerity. “Sometimes, there are reliable people out there and it’s hard to be so guarded when they’re willing to help. It’s a complicated feeling,” She said. She fished out the card from her pocket and handed it to Nani. “Here, payin’ it forward.”
