Tim grinned, utterly unabashed as he stuck his hand out towards her. “-- Tim Drake-Wayne. Bruce Wayne’s my dad. And I like M&Ms.”

“-- Cassie, I really don’t want to. Please don’t make me.”

“they’re the big ones with the weird tales and the red thing under their chins, yeah? i mean. i’m pretty sure i know what a turkey looks like. they’re everywhere in november..and they’re not that ugly.” 

“-- That’s the one. It’s okay, you can say it, they’re ugly.”

“There’s.. aliens here?” Sure, Ashido always joked that she was an alien due to her acidic quirk’s likeliness to the blockbuster alien, but the real thing? Now THAT was hard to believe. Coffee was the least of his problems right now. Squinting, Katsuki stared up to the rooftops, hands as his sides ready to launch himself up. He didn’t know who the hell ‘Superman’ was but if he was a pro-hero he’d take his chances. “Seriously? What’s his quirk, enhanced senses?”

“-- Yep. Have been for a while now.” Quirk. Quirk quirk quirk quirk quirk. The heckidiheck did he mean? “-- Uh...I mean...he’s pretty quirky I guess? He lives in a cave in the middle of nowhere. Laser eyes? Flying?”

“Okay, no, but, seriously, this needs to be a thing. Can you make it a thing? Because that would just be amazing! I can already imagine myself at work or in class and suddenly a drone just comes by and drops off some Reese’s.”

“-- Dealio, m’bro, do not underestimate the power of drone delivery. You’ll never know when it’s coming.”

“-- Both. And I’m ridiculously connected.” She may have been joking, but he was deathly serious. “-- Anyway, it’s not like there’s a shortage.”

“I know what planet America’s on, what the fuck? What are you, an alien?” He tried to remember what few American heroes he knew. Surely there had to be an agency around here and they could get him in contact with All Might. Hell, he’d even take Best Jeanist at this point! “Bakugou. So what, people just show up in America? Can’t exactly say it’s ‘hard to believe’.” Not when it literally happened to him.. “Where’s the closest Heroes Agency?”

Tim shrugged. “-- Nope, I’m just weirdly used to people around here being from other planets and time periods and stuff. It’s a thing. It’s kind of concerning but at least there’re a bunch of sweet coffee hookups.” A pause. “-- ...But yeah, sorry, Bakugou, there isn’t one. If you stand on a rooftop and scream for the Justice League, though, Superman might hear you.”

“You sound fake.” Great comeback Grayson, absolutely amazing. “I would not mind the collection variety, that way I also know where the pizza place is at.” He finished fifth. “Considering you messed with the game, I did pretty okay.”

“-- What? All I did was make it like you’re playing against other actual players, as opposed to like, against some basic-level AI that’ll roll over and take it when you knock it off the Mushroom Gorge. Let me live. Preferably with pizza, though.”

cassies brows furrowed as she watched the other. “of course i’ve seen a turkey, tim.”

“-- Dude. I don’t believe you. You said you’ve never seen an ugly bird, and like, I love birds a bunch but you gotta admit a turkey ain’t got no alibi.”

tooru laughs brightly. “no need to sign anything! though i may ask for a favor later. i don’t often just give my favorite food away.”

“-- ...Uh..................... Okay, I’m gonna say that speaking as one of the people responsible for the running of Wayne Enterprises in the absence of its CEO, that...........sounds...super sus. I don’t like making deals without knowing the parameters. Which is sad in this case. I really like milk bread. But like. Parameters.”

fully facing the other, the tiger let out a soft laugh, her arms coming up to wrap around her chest as she shifted to lean against the wall of the building. now only the bottom half of her suit visible in the light, eyes glowing a soft green as she listened to the other speak. “i guess it’s better than working alone.” she noted, eyebrow raising at his next statement. “thank you. that was nothing, really. never understood why someone would wanna steal from kids.” she continued. “you gotta name?” 

Success -- he’d made her laugh. Mission: Positive Rapport was a go-go. “-- Red Robin,” he said, by way of introduction as he took steps to approach her, holding his hand out for a handshake. “-- And you’re right. Worst comes to worst, it means you get to play i-Spy on slow nights, and worst comes to even worse, you’ve got someone to watch your back if someone tries to do anything worse than steal from kids.”

“tim..i just want to celebrate your birthday. you’d do it for me.”

“-- Well, yeah, but like...you actually want to celebrate your birthday.”

Turning when the guy intervened, Katsuki inwardly screamed ‘thank God’ when the guy spoke Japanese. What he said, though, didn’t sit so well with him. Did those bastards ditch him and not hang around to take a beating? Petty criminals were useless to him. Without his heroes permit, he wasn’t legally allowed to do hero’s work. Besides, that didn’t help him get back to U.A. “No,” he started, fists clenched as he scowled at the moving crowds as if he’d see that warp bastard amongst them, “I don’t know where the hell they’ve dumped me or how I’m suppose to get back to Japan. And I don’t know what their Goddamn plan is! When I find them, I’m going to kill those bastards!” Not literally, of course, but he did make a habit of threatening death when he was pissed. So always. “Where am I? Is All Might here?”

Tim frowned at him. Well. Crap. “-- Yeah, I got nothing. You’re in Magnolia. It’s a town in Illinois.” A pause. “-- America. ...Earth. Would you believe me if I said this happens a lot? I’d say you’re gonna get home without any difficulties but from the things that happen around here, it’s kind of unlikely. I’m Tim.”

“you’re welcome. and i’m sure they are cute..i don’t think i’ve seen an ugly bird yet.” cassie noted. “and really? i couldn’t tell.”

“-- Wait. Wait.” Tim sat up then, scrambling into an upright position on his seat. “-- Are you telling me you’ve never seen a turkey.”

“Pretty sure it’s still cheating.” He mumbled as he started his last lap. He smiled at Tim’s words. “Hell yes I’m down to get pizza bro.”

“-- That sound fake,” was Tim’s rebuttal, as he caaaaaaasually slipped past the finish line. “-- But okay. I can offer you many pizza, of the delivery and also the collection variety.”
