“Right now?” His eyes widened and he was a bit shocked. She usually gave him some notice before hand. “Well, I should go get ready then huh? Thank you for bringing me with you.” He got out of his chair fast and walked over to the door. “I will see you soon.” He smiled at the beautiful woman before leaving the room they were in. After he took a quick shower, and freshened up. He put the suit on carefully because the last thing he wanted to do was ruin a expensive suit. After he was finished he looked at himself in the mirror, and he couldn’t help but smile at himself. This was a pretend life. This was Rocky’s life not his but he enjoyed playing pretend. He grabbed his cellphone, and sprayed some cologne on him as he walked out of her office

Sam walked over to the limo that was waiting for them outside and slid in,”Sorry took so long…” He smiled. “But I’m here. Ready to party.”

Rocky busied herself with her phone as she waited for Sam to freshen up and return. Once he did, she was not disappointed. She grinned widely at him and scooted over in the hired car so that he could sit beside her.

“You look handsome! I’m sure you can find a man at this party.” She teased with a crinkle of her nose.

“Well, I did and I always do. I have no reason to lie about something like that to you.” Ike looked at his boss now. “Have I ever lied to you about anything? Or gave you a reason to think I was lying? I’ve been nothing but loyal to you since I was a teenager.” He replied as he nodded taking a look at the muffler. “I will take a look at it but if I can’t find out what is wrong I’d rather have one of the guys who know what they are doing fix it.”

“Why you gotta look like that, huh?” Wes asked, shaking his head as he circled the bike to get closer to Isaac once more. “You always look like one of those damned dogs on the ASPCA commercials, like you been kicked real hard with your big blue eyes all sad and shit… don’t do that.” He cracked a smile, “Sure… whatever. I guess I trust ya.”

“Yeah! He won’t talk to me about it at all really. He gets too embarrassed but he is getting out there. I’m so proud of him.” Eli smiled and couldn’t wait to mention the big part of the news. “And it’s your brother Teddy.” He chuckled. “I guess that is why he won’t talk to me about it…maybe he thinks I will tell you? He’s right.” Eli put his hand on Jax’s hip now. “I guess we like to keep it in the family.”

Jax grinned widely, “Well, I’m glad he’s getting out there. I mean, he’s handsome and smart and sweet, so it’s no surprise that he’s got someone interested in him, I’m just glad he was able to find the courage to take the leap.” His breath hitched in his throat when Eli touched his hip and then he burst into laughter. “No shit? Teddy, huh? I’m gonna have to talk to him about that.”

“Oh…I see.” He sighed and looked away for a moment. “Then why didn’t you tell me? I could have came and picked you up?” He was hoping all of his questions werent going to upset Remi but let him know that his company meant a lot to him instead. “What do you wanna do?” He smiled and stood up only to sit on the taller males lap and lean against him. He brought his hand up to Remi’s chin and rubbed it softly with his thumb.

“Because I’m the boss, and you’re working for me.” He suggested, his brows high, but he didn’t push it -- there was even a small smile on his face. “Google it, then, kid.”

“You got it.” Sam smiled as he was glad that she didn’t seem that angry about him not enforcing the rules strongly enough. He turned his head to watch her squeeze his shoulder and nodded,”I’d love to.” Of course he did. He loved pretending like he was rich for a night. He also really enjoyed the drinks and the free food. “What time?”

“I did. Ask him!” Ike sighed and shook his head as he started to fix the part he was working on before Wes got there. “What kind noise?” He asked not even looking at Wes knowing that the was the boss and no matter how much he did not want to fix his bike he had to. 

“If I ask him and he has no idea what I’m talking about, I’m kicking your ass.” Wes answered, watching Isaac closely. He narrowed his eye, “Something in the muffler, I think.” He continued, arms still folded across his chest as he nodded toward his bike.

Eli saw the redness in Jax’s cheeks and he loved every bit of it. “I see..I guess family is kind of important.” He nodded as he reached over and ran his thumb over Jax’s earlobe softly. “Yeah…trying to make money and make sure my brother stays in one piece. He’s starting to date. Can you believe that?”

Jax flushed a deeper red when he was touched. His eyes fell on Eli’s mouth and then darted back up to his eyes, a little smile pulling at his lips. “Yeah… you should know better than anyone.” He answered, his brow furrowing. “No sit… really? I don’t believe it.”

“Uh..” He quickly shifted up into his chair fast realizing it was his boss. “Yes but I’ve literally told him like 20 times to not be on his cellphone and you told me not to bother you today. I was going to write you a note.”

“Well, next time confiscate it.” She said in a sickly sweet voice before casting her gaze on the offending party. She sighed and squeezed Sam’s shoulder. “I’ve a gala to go to, I’d appreciate it if you came with. Make sure you polish yourself up really nicely, yeah?”

Ike rolled his eyes because there was always that time of day where Wes had to get all macho man status with him. At one point he just let it happen so Wes would just leave him alone. “Okay.” He simply replied and grabbed the wrench in the toolbox next to him. “I’ve told Max every single time I gave a discount.”

Wes grunted but didn’t say anything for a moment. It was fine so long as Ike didn’t argue with him, then he’d have to show him who was really boss, and he didn’t feel much like getting his knuckles dirty. “Right, sure ya did.” He folded his arms across his chest. “Fix up my bike, will ya? It’s making a weird noise.”

“It comes naturally, baby,” He sang to the the rhythm of the song by Selena Gomez and smiled afterwards when he was finished. “So, where ya been Jax? I haven’t seen you around that much.”

Jax’s cheeks flushed even though he knew he wasn’t really the one being called baby. He laughed softly and shrugged, “Been busy with family vacations and stuff, I guess. Haven’t seen you around either, what have you been doing? Driving?”

“But I’ve literally been sitting in my house on this couch all day with no one to talk to and nothing to do. It was the best thing I’ve heard all day. It’s sarcasm, Remi.” Teddy grinned and shook his head. He should have known it would have went right over his friends head. “You told me you would be here early. What happened? Where were you?”

“Oh, right...” Remi answered -- Teddy was back at it with the sarcasm even after what Remi had told him about that. He shrugged his shoulders, “My brother was supposed to give me a ride, but he got caught up driving people in his Uber.”

“Are you sure? Because I’m gonna google it right now.”

“Even if I didn’t come up with it -- which I did -- are you in any position to be questioning me, kid?” He paused, “The answer is no, where’s the money.”

“My bad. I’ve just had a irritating day. What can I get for you?”

“It’s all right, Ike, you probably didn’t realize it was me...” He looked mildly affronted for a moment. “Don’t you know what I like?”
