i never understood that goo goo gaga mess. never will i ever talk to babies like that.

Psychologically speaking you shouldn’t speak to your child with a baby voice. Babies making gurgling noises are then trying to imitate their surroundings aka what you’re saying but at that point they can only hear the emotional tones. Speaking in full sentences but speaking positively and happy tones improve the baby’s confidence when speaking.

Nope. I never spoke in the ‘baby voice’ to my daughter. Since she came out of the womb, even while in the womb, I was speaking to her in full clear sentences. They look at the way that our lips move and the expressions that we make on our faces, and the tones of our voices. She was speaking and knew what certain objects were at a VERY early age. This also helps with their fine motor skills too.

When people ask you what you do, don’t respond with what pays your bills. Tell them; “I’m a producer…I’m an actress…I’m an author….I’m an artist, etc.” Start speaking your career into existence. Start acknowledging your dreams.

I think this could backfire on you in certain situations. For instance, if a guy meets a woman and she asks him what he does and he says he’s an actor or a producer because that’s his dream career and she ends up finding out that he’s actually a cashier at Family Dollar she’s going to think he’s a fake nigga.

You could add “aspiring” in front of it.
