Someone asked me to draw Itachi with glasses, so here’s how I imagine him trying them for the first time.

itachi looks way too adult in the anime, like i thought he was literally like 30 or something when i watched the anime and then i was absolutely shocked when i learned he was actually 13 when the massacre happened, FUCKING THIRTEEN. and then i read the manga, where he actually looks like the kid he indeed was, which is something that constantly reminds you of how fucked up it is to have a 13yo murder his entire clan

One of the dumbest complains Itachi haters/critics have about him and his fans is that he does a lot of fucked up things and his fans aren't critical enough of him and "glaze" him for fucking Sasuke's life. And it's stupid? Because his fans acknowledge what he did, he himself acknowledges what he did. We understand the complexity, the reasoning behind those actions, and while not justified, they're understandable. His haters/critics don't think there's anything more to him than just that. And how dare fans see through that. Must be our fault and not their inability to sympathise with something they consider "wrong." Their morality is conditional, it's as simple as that.
