She was decidedly uncomfortable with the switchblade.  Although she very much liked the idea of it — Blue Sargent, desperado; Blue Sargent, superhero; Blue Sargent, badass — she suspected that the only thing she would cut the first time she opened it was herself.

the way in which they are unapologetically flawed just makes you like them all the more, and has honestly got me pining for this friendship dynamic ;(

i think i’m not very satisfied with how ronan came out, but for a first feel of the characters it’s good enough

that was to be gansey’s greatness.

Gansey had always felt as if there were two of him: the Gansey who was in control, able to handle any situation, able to talk to anyone, and then, the other, more fragile Gansey, strung out and unsure, embarrassingly earnest, driven by naive longing.
