#tbt I miss these days. I use this photo as a bookmark in my "Science of Mind" book. Me and my village made sure to make Bailé read books about our heritage and the contributions to America. My mother @momjae gave me portraits of black male leaders that we placed on his walls as a child and they remain in his room today. #family #understanding #blackpride .... I tuck my lips like my momma 😉

As I walked Sammi and thought about my tasks for the day and that I didn't do my normal meditation, I decided to create an active meditation, using #imagination. Fully in character I made the suburbs of #Altadena my walk in the jungles of #Africa. Drums holding every step as I walked with confident. I don't use the earbuds on my walks so bypassers truly knew that I was stepping within my OWN journey. On my way back home something wickedly cool happened. I saw this black man that I've NEVER saw before walking towards me. Now FREAKIN TRUE STORY, he had this beautiful African curved stick and this long ethnic tunic on. I'm walking with my golf club imagining it as my staff (LOL) and Sammi is in character also as my 🦁. We walked towards each other with a robust amount of confidence and awareness. And as we approached each other we stopped and turned towards each other. He said "Good Morning Queen". I said "Good Morning King" and we continue on our paths. THE ZONE WAS REAL. #create #imagine #meditation #reality. Had to document this one with Sammi and I imagination mode 🦁✊🏿#psbytrinity. Don't give up on your imagination people it leads to something REAL.

So I will definitely be going to the gym. 🏃🏿This is fucking delicious 😋 and made to order. Waited 30 mins and it was worth it. They just sucker punched Starbucks

Someone once told me that they don't workout cuz they hate to sweat... Well for me sweat fuels me! It gives me the #energy I need to tackle this thing we called #life. It was my first day in the gym since being on the road (although we did walk around 3 hours in Tokyo yesterday). But today during my workout I had the apple playlist of #darkchild behind the boards goin' and I was running,lifting,and shakin all around. So hey maybe sweat is not for everybody but it sure does this body mind and spirit GOOD 🚴🏾🏋🏾
