aaaa this is my first ask for this blog!!! thank you very much for taking interest in my lad :D

most of the huge scars are from belphie, as i like to imagine the attack as more extended and intense than getting choked (im currently writing my own interpretation of it but its taking me so long haha)

the circled ones are from belphie:

the other chest scars are from a minor demon very shortly after arriving in the devildom. the small scar on his thigh are from dropping scissors on his leg. and he has self harm scars on his wrists and thighs as well.

I - Fly Love

For whatever reason, human researchers were once able to peer deep into the mind of a male fruit fly, and determine that such a creature does not think about sex at all.

Unless, of course, he were to find a suitable mate. And then—if the fancy comes to him—he undergoes a sudden transformation. His entire brain reconfigures itself into one fixated on reproduction. He thinks of nothing else, is made for nothing else. He will chase his love for miles, track their particular movement and sound and shape. All the while, he unknowingly serenades them with wingbeat music that only he can play.

That part is kind of cute, actually.

The research paper described such a feeling within the insect as not dissimilar to hunger or thirst. Which all sounds quite a lot like a certain frowny-faced fly-guy we know, no?

I wonder what kind of purr the wings of such a large fly would be like, while he pesters you for a family of his own someday.
