a 90ās kid? donāt you mean sad adult?
70,000 people have reblogged this but no one is trying to defend themselves
There is nothing to defend
#i read a post once that described 90s kids as the generation of nostalgiaĀ #because so much technological advancement happened in such a rapid timeframe when we were growing upĀ #that we can clearly remember having technologies that are now obsoleteĀ #like going from a corded hugeass phone to a small computer in your pocket just within our formative years is a major thingĀ #and it sparks a nostalgia for our seemly āsimplerā childhoodsĀ #because so much rapid development makes it seem like it was a lot longer ago than it actually wasĀ (x)
This is the most solid explanation of our decade I have ever heard.
Oh my god
Just to add onto that, our childhood wasnāt even technology based. We grew up knowing of chalk, skateboards, jump rope, street hockey, playgrounds, butterfly collecting, etc. Slowly technology took over our lives and now there are hardly kids playing outside in the summer. We can clearly remember our childhood as it was and now we can see the clear line between it. We were the generation right smack in the middle of it all. Our parents were of non-tech and our children/young siblings will be all tech.
Not to mention, ours was the last generation that grew up with all those bright promises of āwork hard, go to college, and youāll have a successful life,ā only to find those hopes abruptly dashed when the housing bubble burst. Milliennials have grown up expecting that disappointment, because for them, the problem has been there since Day One.
So 90s kids arenāt just nostalgicā¦weāre BITTER. And we ache for those days when we could still think that the world was boundless and full of the opportunities we were promised since the first day of kindergarten.
Every time someone adds to this i have to reblog.
So my dad gambles quite a bit
And heās pretty good at it, so heās a diamond-level guest at all the harrahs casinos, meaning they always comp his room and meals. My mom has a second job with her friendās modeling company, and they were working a banquet in Vegas. My moms main job is as a flight attendant though, so we fly free. So my dad just took off to Vegas the night of my moms job, and when they were done, he took her and all her model friends (7 of them) to a fancy-ass restaurant. Heās friends with one of the waiters there just from visiting so often, but they donāt know much about my dads life/job/whatever. So when my dad shows up with a bunch of models, the waiter comes up and heās like āok dude spill. what do you do? whatās your job?ā And my dads like āitās a mysteryā because heās a mailman
Tumblr and pokemon.

WHEREāS THE LIE THO
so basically⦠To be a good man you should only be with one woman for your entire life? And if youāve been with someone thatās disgusting? Ok.
dude. itās a play-off of how people treat women by slut shaming them. see how ridiculous it sounds when they switch genders? then why is it that way for women.Ā
It sucks that it had to be explainedā¦
Praise this post

IM CRYING OH MY GOD
this is like the first shitpost
Anxiety attacks arenāt always hyperventilating and rocking back and forth
Anxiety attacks can take different forms, such as:
Unpredictable bouts of rage or irritability
Nit-pickiness (obsessive behavior, which may be a part of OCD), and even a hypersensitivity to disarray, chaos, or any sort of change
Fast-talking, stuttering, stumbling over words
Not talking at all
Sitting rigid, staring into space, almost seemingĀ āzoned outā
Understanding the way our or otherās anxiety works can help to decrease the stigma and help to calm a person faster and get them out of that state. These are just a few, but it gives an idea of the range in which attacks can come.
Iāll reblog this every time I see it.
