my boyfriend and I are going to adopt a puppy tomorrow and I’m trying not to freak out but I have a Baxter sized hole in my heart and I just don’t know if I’m going to be able to love this puppy the same as I love him??

the last couple days I’ve really been back and forth about whether I want roommates for my first year of med school.  I don’t personally know anyone in my class and living with people I barely know could either go decently or really really bad.  I think I’m still scarred from having horrible roommates sophomore year of college.  Also, do I even want to be around other people who are probably just as neurotic and competitive as I am?? I just really don’t know what is going to be the best option for me at this point because I don’t want to socially isolate myself the first year but don’t want to end up in a bad roommate situation?? this shouldn’t be such a hard decision for me.
