i’m a foreign student in europe and we are currently under lockdown. i cannot pick up work due to the lockdown and also because i cannot do physical work (hEDS), and i cannot pick up freelance stuff due to being very busy with my thesis and an internship. i do not really have another way to get money.

however, i only have a euro in my wallet atm — it’s getting really tough for me. i need approximately €30 for food, sanitary products and medication, but even half of that would be life saving right now.

I recently lost my car when the ball bearing on one of the dump-machine’s wheels snapped and left me barrelling off the side of the highway at 65 MPH and into a ditch, ruining my car entirely!

I was earning money with DoorDash, so losing the car put me out of a job and with little to lean on. I’m now waiting for PUA, IF that could work for me, but it’s been more than a month, and I’m running out of time while I wait for them to review my claim!! (I’ve called, and all I can do is wait as of now)

Physically, I definitely got some stage 2 whiplash, and MAYBE worse (I’m having the most genuinely horrific jaw pains, trouble chewing, sometimes to where I’m crying and moaning unstoppably in pain for an hour at a time), but surprise-surprise, I don’t even have the money to see if this is really serious, and even maybe an injury to my spinal cord that could paralyze me untreated!!

My wifi is going to be shut off in six days; my rent is extremely late; my electric is at risk of disconnection at, honestly, anytime as of now.

The long post w the good explanation is being shared but not inspiring much help. So, I simplified it.

My illness is straight up fatal. Not gonna beat around thatBush, anymore. I seem desperate for help because I AM desperate for help.

My nephrologist has seen enough improvement in my kidney function, lately, to believe someone my age (early 30s) might have a longer life WITH PROPER AND FREQUENT MEDICAL ATTENTION. Sadly, that just isn’t an option where I live.

Please, if you can help me with moving expenses (even just a couple of bucks) I would be grateful. I’m sinking fast in Mississippi and now my doctors are giving me too much hope to ignore. I wanna get out of this situation and I’m working my fatigued, brain-foggy ass off to make it out of here.

If I can undo the damage my heart failure caused to the rest of my body, I want to. I don’t want to spend another month KNOWING what I should be eating, what medicines I should be taking, what tests and treatments I should be getting… and receiving almost none of it because Mississippi lawmakers think people like me have somehow earned slow, painful deaths.

Monday, September 3rd - Hi everyone, I’m Gemma and I’m so sorry to ask this again so soon from my previous benefit sanction post but is anyone able to send me a few £’s so I can eat this month?

At the moment, I have absolutely no income or food until my benefits are reinstated, the sanctions aren’t due to be lifted until the start of September and I am not due to receive a payment until September 25th (a whole month away, I can provide evidence) and I know that I have asked this a lot these past few months and all the help I have previously received has literally helped me from spiraling into more debt and helped me to eat and stay warm so far and I absolutely hate to ask for more help but I have no one else to turn to.  

Also, as many of you know, last month I was diagnosed with a folic acid deficiency, due to lack of nutrition and without basic groceries to take my 14 meds per day, my condition will only get worse, so this post is incredibly urgent for me.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life and, sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. Nobody has to donate if they can’t or don’t want to, I know we’re all struggling. Thank you for your help 💖

Water bill is 115$ish? Plus past due of 20 something.

Then our cable/internet/homephone is 400$. Which we may be able to get away with paying half for now. Normally this bill wouldn’t be important but we need internet for school and my mom uses it for those serveys that pay, as well as filling out paperwork. All of our doctors call the home phone with news/appointment reminders.

And our insurance still hasnt come through.
