A statement so simple, yet bold in the face of adversity. A two way street where one side may reach out while the other receives. However... The choice is what defines a person and what they do. I think a large part of what a person defines helps shape the person of who or what they are meant to do in life. Discovering yourself is one of the greatest things that a person will ever do. It can be the worst and best thing a person experiences at once. I'm going through that myself. Well, I have been going through it for a while now, and sometimes it feels like the end. I feel shame. regret. hate. happiness. love. disaster. forgiveness. prejudice. grudges. Everything around the sun.

And these feelings will attack you... They will shoot you down and destroy you in a matter of milliseconds. People think they have had things rougher than others. NO. We all experience the same thing. It just appears in different situations, and yes; it will seem unfair at times. Some may even not believe the words from my mouth. Like me getting molested by an older cousin at four years old is different from a person not getting into the college of their dreams. To hell with trying to compare because I and this other individual have some differences. These are BOTH traumatizing that require a hand reaching out. The only difference that truly lies in the choice we CHOOSE TO MAKE.
