The Overlords Show

This is a Tsams au!

A multi-dimensional council of War lords and it's a different family member each from a different dimension. They all rule their personal dimension with an iron fist. And by chance they've now joined forces after Overlord Moon sought out each of them.

They make the Creators look stupid. They make stars look like toys. They make Astrals tremble.

Nexus has recently been sent to space by Puppet and was found by these warlords. Nexus ends up becoming their personal assistant.

The overlords adore Nexus as their new sibling and try to find a way to get the star from their original dimension so they can be an overlord just like them.

Nexus's old family thinks that the Overlords had brainwashed them or something and try "rescuing" them. Nexus doesn't want to go back because for the first time since they woke up, they're experiencing real genuine love from family... even if it's somewhat very possessive.

Dni list: No one rude, no transaphobes or homophobes, just don't be rude or an asshole and you're good.

Will do: Asks, scene requests, maybe a bit of roleplay, I will write suggestive stuff but nothing overly explicit. Not like full on sex scenes or stuff like that (I'm not comfortable writing or drawing that). Trigger warnings to be applied (as best as I can).

Ever since Nexus had started out as their assistant, they've been dragged from one dimension to another. It was like every other minute; they're being called for some reason and it was getting out of hand.

So, this was their solution.

O! Earth: "I don't see why we need this."

O! Lunar: "I agree. We should just be able to call when we need you."

Nexus: "That's easy for you to say but there are seven of you and only one of me. Just yesterday, four of you called me back-to-back and I was stuck having to figure out which one of you needed me the most."

O! Lunar: "Well, I called first so naturally I take priority."

O! Dazzle: "Nuh-uh, I needed them to look at some data from my labs. They should've come to me first."

O! Solar: "You didn't call them first. I did."

And the argument spiraled from there.

Nexus had only really agreed to being their assistant out of fear. I mean what do you say to seven warlords? No? Nexus didn't see that as an option. It was still terrifying even after learning who they were and what they were capable of... but Stars, they were clingy.

Most of the time whenever Nexus got a call it was them wanting to show off. It was running them exhausted.

Nexus, loudly: "What if I crash?"

That got their attention really quick.

Nexus: "You have me running around between the seven of you and I've barely had time to charge or relax, and I should've said something before, but I was too afraid of you guys to say anything and one of these days I'm going to crash from exhaustion."

Ok, that was just fast rambling.

...

O! Sun: "You're afraid of us?"

Nexus: "... Yeah. I mean, no... yeah. I don't know."

O! Moon: "You don't know?"

Nexus: "How am I supposed to know anything? I've been abandoned by the only family I knew, everything I was ever told was a lie, and suddenly I'm an assistant to a bunch of warlords that have apparently been ruling dimensions for years and are constantly trying to one up each other."

And they're back to the rambling. As well as pacing around the table as the Overlords watched them.

Nexus: "I'm no saint, I've done some pretty messed up shit, but not nearly on the same level as you guys and it's scary how unphased everyone seems to be. Well, most of them are still scared shitless but that doesn't make it any better."

Overlord Solar had stood up from the table at some point and caught them in their pacing. They stood still, staring at each other before Overlord Solar guided them to sit down in the chair that he was originally sitting in.

O! Moon: "We might've rushed into things with this new arrangement."

O! Jack: "We were just happy to have you back."

...

Nexus: "What do you mean back?"

...

O! Sun: "We each had our own versions of you."

O! Moon: "Sun."

O! Sun: "There's no point in hiding it. We each had our own versions of our family, that much is obvious from the things you've seen as you've spent time with each of us... I never had a Solar though."

O! Lunar: "Neither did I or Earth. But we still like having him around. Well, I tolerate him."

O! Solar: "Gee thanks. I feel so loved."

Nexus: "... So I'm just a replacement?"

"No!"

O! Moon: "There'd be no point in replacing the ones we had. It wouldn't be the same... and it wouldn't be fair to you."

...

Nexus: "So what am I doing here?"

O! Moon: "Think of this as a second chance. You can finally live how you want, not as someone else's shadow, with a family that will actually love and care for you... if you'll have us."

Nexus: "... Can I think about this?"

O! Moon: "Of course. You take your time. Meanwhile, we'll discuss a schedule."

Nexus: "Would you train me?"

O! Moon: "What?"

Nexus: "I want it. The second chance, an actual family, all of it. I want to actually be me... But I also want revenge. I want them to suffer the same way they made me suffer."

Overlord Moon smiled. That was exactly the answer he was expecting to hear.

Nexus: "But I know that I'm not strong enough to go up against them, not as I currently am. They'll take it all away from me because that's what they do."

O! Moon: "And it wouldn't be as satisfying if we did it for you. I can understand that. You will need the star from your dimension if you want to accomplish this."

Nexus: "It was destroyed. Long before I woke up."

O! Moon: "Every star is different depending on the dimension. They all do relatively do the same thing but it's creation is precise and valuable. One wrong move and you'll end up with no dimension at all."

Nexus: "I know my Moon still has the original blueprints but I don't know where they're kept. The astrals were very insistent that it all be destroyed but Moon hasn't been one to given up anything completely."

O! Moon: "I'll send drones and scouts to your dimension to see what they can find. In the meantime, we're all going to prepare you to handle that sort of power."

Nexus: "I look forward to it."

Moon: "Who the f*ck are you?"

O! Moon: "I'm you. From the future."

Moon: "Really?"

O! Moon: "No."

You've referred to Nexus as she and they

Nexus is trans fem and genderfluid.

They normally go by they/them but don't mind being called she.

I've already mentioned that Overlord Earth lives in a castle with a massive garden. A massive never-ending garden.

Overlord Dazzle lives in the tallest building in her walled city. I see the city being a bit like Arcane with the colorful graffiti, banners, and murals. Her building has most of it and it's all dedicated to her dead family.

Overlord Lunar doesn't have a house really. The astrals destroyed it when they killed his family and he never bothered to rebuild it or get a new one. Overlord Moon has given him two space stations. One he uses as a prison, mostly for those he thinks can be of use to him in some way or some astrals he really wants to suffer. And the other he uses as his house. He and Night live there. Night does have his own section of the space station, but he spends most of his time in Overlord Lunar's side.

Overlord Sun has a big manor that is very celestial themed. It has a garden too, something Overlord Earth insisted he should have and he has gardeners that maintain it. He has statues as graves for his dead family members that he frequently visits. He surprisingly doesn't have any other servants besides the gardeners. He doesn't trust anyone to be in his house.

Overlord Moon... the man spends part of his time on a spaceship, this tall skyscraper that overlooks the city, and this mansion in the middle of nowhere that looks like you stepped into a 1970s sci-fi comic... with a mix of aquarium. The place is a freakin fever dream, and you get lost very easily and wonder how because it doesn't look that big from the outside.

Overlord Jack... I don't really see him... having a house. Mainly because I think it's a bit funny that Jack is running around the woods and people know he's out there because they can see his eyes staring at them in the darkness... and then they slowly vanish and you're wondering if he left or he just closed his eyes. But I'd say he has this treehouse out in middle of the woods. with a little grave for his Nexus, Solar, and Dazzle.

Overlord Solar lives in the island house. He and his Nexus talked about buying it before everything happened and he thought it'd be the best place for him... away from everyone else, living a memory that never got to exist... I don't recommend going into the basement. but Overlord Jack actually has a room there.

Overlord Dazzle:

Advisor #1: "What the f*ck did I miss? I just came back with the samples."

Advisor #2: "We, um, we were having a meeting about our recent developments on the cure, and it was going really well... until Lady Dazzle's new assistant snuck up behind her and threw a snowball at her."

Advisor #1: "WHAT?!"

Advisor #2: "I didn't even see that the door had opened until after they had thrown it."

Advisor #1: "Are they dead? She surely killed them for that."

Advisor #2: "No... No, she... she just stood there for a minute, and I honestly thought that she was going to kill them. But she just... chased them outside and they... they've been throwing snowballs at each other for the past ten minutes."

Advisor #1: "...What- what do you mean? What do you mean they're not killed on the spot?"

Advisor #2: "That's, um, yeah... we don't know what to do."

Overlord Lunar:

Soldier #1: "... Why are there two of them?"

Soldier #2: "What?"

Soldier #1: "I just saw Lord Lunar talking to his assistant... but there's another one with him."

Soldier #2: "I haven't heard of him getting another assistant. Who is it?"

Soldier #1: "That's the thing. I have no clue."

Soldier #2: "What do you mean?"

Soldier #1: "I've never seen them before. They look just like Night but purple and a bit shorter honestly."

Soldier #2: "Where are they now?"

Soldier #1: "Last I saw they were heading up towards cells where those astrals are."

Soldier #2: "Are you sure they were his new assistant?"

Soldier #1: "He was talking about how it was his turn to show off his 'place' and how Lord Sun and Lord Solar need to stop hogging them."

Soldier #2: "So... so they're the Overlords' assistant?"

Soldier #1: "I don't know. I came to find you."

Soldier #2: "You doofus, come on, we have to go find out what the deal is with the new guy or else we're going to be the one in the cells when we make the wrong assumptions."

Overlord Jack:

Bystander #1: "Does she have a death wish? Why is she holding hands with Lord Jack?"

Bystander #2: "Oh, you haven't heard."

Bystander #1: "What?"

Bystander #2: "That's Lord Jack's mother."

Bystander #1: "I thought she was dead!"

Bystander #2: "There had been rumors of a grave out in the forest somewhere, but no one has really been able to prove that. He's been addressing her as his mother so we can only assume."

Bystander #1: "... She's not at all how I pictured she'd be."

Bystander #2: "I thought that too. I expected her to be this tall, terrifying dragon thing."

Bystander #1: "Where has she been all this time then?"

Bystander #2: "There's been rumors that she was dead and Lord Jack revived her and has been keeping her hidden away until now. I've just accepted that as my answer."

Bystander #1: "Huh... what exactly are they doing here?"

Bystander #2: "Shopping. They've been in quite a few stores already and Lord Jack hasn't let go of her hands since the last one and he's still quite angry."

Bystander #1: "... Ok, 1: you said that way too casually, and 2: what happened?"

Bystander #2: "I was just in there to pick up an order, and they had come in to look around. Lord Jack went to go grab something to show her and- you remember that gator that moved into town last month."

Bystander #1: "Ugh him."

Bystander #2: "Well, apparently, he didn't see her come in with Lord Jack and started hitting on her. He said some very disgusting things."

Bystander #1: "Oh lord no."

Bystander #2: "We were trying to tell him to stop but he ignored us. Lord Jack came back just as he had grabbed her... then he threw him through the store window."

Bystander #1: "That explains the broken window I passed on my way over here."

Bystander #2: "I think he would've killed him if his mother wasn't standing right there. I swear I saw him look back at her and hesitate."

Bystander #1: "He... he hesitated?"

Bystander #2: "I think that he didn't want his mother to see him kill someone. Though I don't think it'll stop him from coming back in the dead of night to finish what he started."

Bystander #1: "That's... terrifyingly sweet."

Overlord Solar:

Mechanic #1: "Who's the chick?"

Mechanic #2: "What chick?"

Mechanic #1: "The one Lord Solar is talking to."

Mechanic #2: "... I don't know. Must be someone important if Lord Solar is actually talking to her."

Mechanic #3: "Overlord Moon picked her up out of space and she became the Overlords' new assistant."

Mechanic #1: "How do you know that?"

Mechanic #3: "I was working on the craft when it happened, Genius."

Mechanic #2: "Doesn't Lord Solar already have an assistant though?"

Mechanic #3: "He does but from what I hear this one is... special."

Mechanic #1: "How so? They look just about the same as anyone else here."

Mechanic #3: "Not entirely sure but the Overlords are extremely protective of her. Lord Solar cut off a guy's head because he threw something at her."

Mechanic #1: "She must be special then. The only other person to be treated like that is the Sun that follows him around."

Mechanic #3: "Yeah, I heard Daydream and Lord Solar are brothers. And I heard rumors that this new girl is his wife."

Mechanic # 2: "What? There's no way? Him of all people?"

Mechanic #3: "I overheard some of the ladies downstairs talkin' about how Lord Solar's wife went missing or somethin' and that that new assistant is actually her. But I think that's just a rumor."

She turned people into plants.

I colored them.

The news of Nexus's arrival spreads pretty quickly and the Overlords' staff start gossiping.

Overlord Earth:

Maid #1: "Can you believe it? They just showed up one day and the immediately become the Lady Earth's personal assistant."

Maid #2: "Not just for the Lady, but for all of them."

Maid #1: "Really? That's sounds terrifying."

Maid #2: "Yeah, but it's better them than us. I was serving the Lady during their tea party, and they had three calls from the other Overlords back-to-back. I can't imagine running around like a headless chicken and being so close with the Overlords. That's a death wish."

Maid #1: "I doubt it'll last long. They don't really tend to care much about their assistants. You remember the last one the Lady had? She accidentally bumped into something in her office and broke it. The Lady killed her before she could even stutter an apology."

Maid #2: "You're not going to believe this, but this new one knocked over a teacup and spilt tea all over The Lady's dress."

Maid #1: "No."

Maid #2: "The Lady didn't do anything but tell them that it was ok and that it was an old dress anyway. It was her favorite dress."

Maid #1: "The pink one? And she didn't do anything to them?"

Maid #2: "She didn't even raise her voice. It was the strangest, most terrifying thing I have ever seen."

Overlord Moon:

Soldier #1: "There's no way."

Soldier #2: "I swear! This recruit from the lower decks came barging into the control room, yelling about how rebellion and some shit like that."

Soldier #3: "That was just stupid. He was going up against Lord Moon with a blaster that's registered to every soldier here. Like it'd do anything to him."

Soldier #2: "Yeah, but he's not the person he shot at."

Soldier #1: "What?"

Soldier #2: "He shot at the new assistant."

Soldier #1: "The purple one with the hoodie?"

Soldier #3: "That's the one. And Lord Moon actually blocked them and took the shot himself."

Soldier #1: "I don't believe that. Lord Moon has never taken a bullet for anyone, let alone an assistant that he can easily replace."

Soldier #2: "He did and then he just killed the guy. Lord Moon wasn't even hurt from the shot other than the smoldering hole in his shirt."

Soldier #3: "And the assistant was freaking out as if he was. Lord Moon actually comforted them."

Soldier #1: "That's unbelievable! There's no way that happened."

Overlord Sun:

Gardener #1: "Is that?"

Gardener #2: "I thought they were dead. There's a whole ass statue of them in their memory right over there."

Gardener #1: "Maybe Lord Sun revived them? That's the only explanation as to why they're right there."

Gardener #2: "Do they look a bit different to you? Like their hat is different and they have freckles."

Gardener #1: "I don't know. It's not like we know what they really look like. Lord Sun doesn't actually let us inside the manor or show us pictures. We've just seen the statue and the plaque."

Gardener #2: "He's been a lot, I don't know, calmer? than before."

It depends on the Overlord.

Like they help Overlord Moon in his lab, they have tea parties with Overlord Earth, they play with Overlord Jack, etc.

Man made his entire world look like something out of your basic sci-fi movie with flying cars, robots, and holograms.

He has a massive aquarium in his home that he and Nexus spend most of their free time in and he will start rambling about all the aquatic creatures he has in there... the same man that has threatened and thrown people into the tank with the most dangerous animals in his collection.

I headcannon that his favorite show is Cowboy Bebop... I mean just look at it.

They're having a meeting in one of Overlord Moons spaceships. It was a nice break from their own dimensions.

O! Moon: "You took their souls out of their bodies and put them into animatronic bodies as a way to 'cure' the virus?"

O! Dazzle: "Yep."

O! Moon: "And now everyone else is trying to appease you so you'd grant them this immunity too, completely unaware of the trauma and tragedy it causes them."

O! Dazzle: "Yep."

O! Sun: "My little girl is growing up so fast."

O! Earth: "Very impressive. You already have so many people waiting on you and you've just gotten the hang of your powers."

*There's a knock on the door and the entire table goes quiet*

O! Moon: "Enter!"

*The metal door slides open and a trembling soldier with a tablet gets pushed in by two others that try to keep themselves hidden behind the doorframe.*

O! Moon: "What?"

*The poor soldier looked like he was going to faint. Granted that he was just pushed into a room filled with the multiverse's most terrifying warlords. He stutters a lot before the words finally form*

Soldier: "We picked up something on the radar, floating close to our orbit."

O! Moon: "Whatever it is can easily be destroyed. Why bother reporting it?"

Soldier: "Sir, it's alive."

...

O! Moon: "Give me that!"

*Overlord Moon snatches the tablet out of his hands and the soldier flinches. Overlord Moon examines the data collected to see that what he had said was true. There was a small thing floating around in the void of space close to his ship and it was, indeed, alive. He knew that if it was human, it'd long be dead. And most alien species couldn't survive in space for very long. Whatever this was had to be animatronic... and he had an idea as to who it was.*

O! Moon, throwing the tablet at the soldier who fumbled to catch it: "Bring them aboard. Immediately."

*The soldier saluted and scrambled off*

O! Sun: "What was that about?"

O! Moon: "We have a new guest joining us. And if my suspicions are correct, it's someone we're all familiar with."

His suspicions were confirmed when the Overlords entered the medical wing after to see a familiar moon themed animatronic on one of the beds as the medical staff shuffled out of their way. Moon dismissed them entirely. He turned his attention to the monitor that was hooked up to them.

O! Moon: "There's a few differences but that's to be expected from the multiverse. It's undeniably them."

O! Sun, immediately catching on: "You're telling me that that's... that's Nexus."

Overlord Earth gasped softly in shock and the others followed with their own looks of surprise as they looked at the unconscious animatronic in front of them.

O! Earth: "I thought we'd never find them. We've never found them alive before."

O! Moon, checking on the machines that were hooked up to Nexus: "This one has some internal issues, mostly electrical damage it looks like. But other than that, they're perfectly healthy."

O! Dazzle: "They aren't exactly dressed to be a member of a spacecraft's crew. How'd they even get out here?"

What's ur favorite shows

Nexus: "I personally really like Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, My Little Pony, Steven Universe, Danny Phantom is really good too, and-"

O! Moon: "I don't really watch much tv."

Nexus: "He's a liar. His favorite show is Cowboy Bebop."

Overlord Lunar hardly stays in his dimension. He's almost always hunting astrals.

Night's dimension is where Day was able to actually create the star and that attracted the attention of the astrals.

Naturally Lunar shows up to kill all the astrals and possibly recruit Day, seeing how he had the star. However, Day's body wasn't able to withstand the star's power, and he ends up dying because of it, taking his universe with it.
