I Hate Social Media

I don't want to bore you with more of my everyday life, so today I'll bore you with wrestling rumors. Sammy Guevara, once considered a pillar of AEW, may be done with the company. I could see him doing well with WWE. His wife, Tay Conti, is kind of in limbo with AEW too.

The non-compete clauses of many WWE wrestlers who were released three months ago have come to an end. We could see The New Day and Motor City Machine Guns join AEW. Santos Escobar is a darn good wrestler. Maybe he'll sign with Mexico's CMLL or New Japan.

There's plenty more to gossip about, but then we're getting too deeply into the weeds where only hardcore fans reside. Not to be confused with fans of hardcore wrestling, which often requires stitches. There are hardcore fans of hardcore wrestling, of course.

Anyway. It's time to lay the smackdown on this post.

This is actually my second word of the day for today. I wrote up a post using the same word as last week and had to rewrite it. It's serendipity that I discovered my error before everyone read it.

Meanwhile, her mom is spending a lot of time sleeping. Lulu needs a haircut. Jackie has been needy. Raja has been frisky. The Floofer has been a brat. Kitten has been busy. Mark has been lazy.

The conspectus of that paragraph: Same shit, different day.

I've been watching some of the more popular vloggers, and I'm fascinated by their b-roll footage. They'll set out several cameras, then walk, ride, or drive past them. Then they have to return, pick up the cameras, and repeat the process several times.

Then they have to edit all of those shots into their videos before posting. I have no idea what apps they use; I haven't found any that work well for me. Maybe I'm a luddite.

Some of them use drone shots, too. I keep trying to tell Kitten that a drone would be a business expense and that I really, really need one, but she just rolls her eyes at me.

For now, I'll continue to do my single-camera shots without any b-roll, drone images, or other exciting cutaways, just like the pilgrims.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to convince Kitten that I need a dozen GoPros to go with the dozen drones I don't have.
