I Hate Social Media

If I had some witty opening line, this is where I'd put it. I don't, so the previous sentence will have to do for now.

If anything interesting had happened yesterday, I would insert it here. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred, so I won't bore you. I wrote, Kitten went to a meeting, and her mom slept a lot. Woohoo.

If I had any worthwhile opinions on secondary subjects, I would add them here. Opinions are like buttholes, though. Everybody's got one. You may think your butthole is better than everyone else's, but that doesn't mean anyone wants it shoved in their face. Right?

So, I'm not going to shove my butthole opinions on you today. My thoughts on Da Bears, Hollywood, and DC will remain unspoken. If I feel a need to vent about them, I'll put them in my next book.

Of course, that could change. Tomorrow I could be waving my butt in your face and demanding that you admire it. I spend all day hanging out with cats, and that's what they do to me.

Kitten worked from home yesterday, but has a meeting today, so I took advantage and did a little shopping. Not a lot, just Hmart for kimchi, Daiso for gadgets, and Aldi for consumables. I'll finish the shopping this weekend.

While I was at Hmart, I also picked up some Thai coffee and a couple of pouches of konjac jelly. I'm really starting to like the konjac jelly, especially the lychee flavor. It's a drinkable gel that's high in dietary fiber, so you have to treat it like chia and limit your intake.

You can tell that it's summer here in the Chicagoland area. The annual shooting festival has begun, with at least five events held yesterday. SMH.

Why do I keep waking up at 6 or 6:30 every morning? Maybe my body is waking up with the sun. Maybe my brain is just stupid. Either way, I was up and about before the alarm even went off again.

I finished another chapter of A Cattitude Christmas, and now I'm entering the home stretch. It's time to turn up the heat and then reveal the culprit.

I discovered that the Scrivener writing app for the iPad is a dumbed-down version, so it looks like I'm back to looking for a Windows laptop. Maybe Prime Days will offer an affordable Windows tablet or touchscreen.
