Woah took way too long to make these. Was distracted by other Fandom.

But anyway, these are designs from if the Smiling Critters cartoon were successful enough to get more than one season. Moving into season 2 we would move more into the critters getting clothes that reflect their personalities. I think the care bears did this at one point. Hoppy is all about athleticism and sports and how to play fair and not losing your temper. Picky would be seen around her farm a lot, but there is more to do than farming. Episodes set on her farm might have some spooky stuff going on. Like odd dissappearences, or Bunzo pretending to be a scarecrow.

OK, I’m currently on a Poppy Playtime Hyper-fixation or a Smiling Critters one to be more specific, because I’ve been drawing a lot of Smiling Critters themed Fan-Art recently.

Anyway this Fan-Art is based off @smilingcrittersthingig Dadphant AU

I just thought it was so Cute! I just had to draw some Fan-Art of it myself. I also added some smaller Sketches as Photos that the Family had taken along with the main Sketch of Everyone walking together.

I have to add that my favourite thing to draw in this Fan-Art was Little Catnap, he’s design is just so Adorable here.

More about the AU -

In my AU, the children (pre-experimentation) shared basically no similarities to the Critter they would eventually become. However, they were chosen for a reason. The scientists at Playtime Co. chose a selected group of children that shared a core element shared with each individual Critter. For example, Kalvin, the little boy who would later on become Kickin, was demonstrated to have a very strong sense of bravery. He’d be the type to volunteer to go first for anything, even for something as child-appalling as vaccinations. This courage is what made them choose Kalvin to be the base of what would become the Bigger Bodies Initiative version of KickinChicken.

During the transformation process, scientists tortured and brainwashed the subjects until they forgot everything about their previous life (like their name, their hobbies, their core personalities), and brutally replace them with the traits of their designated Smiling Critter. The subject loses all sense of self, and is forced to act more aligned with their Bigger Body, meaning their personality and hobbies are not their own. And they basically get turned into the characters by force.
