Olypica-style adopts are in full swing, so I thought I’d show a quick WIP of the Togruta lass I’m working on!
She’s gonna have a rosy, maroon color palette with some pastel blue and sage green accents. I’m stoked!
While Olypica adopts are being worked on, I thought I’d show a piece of concept art from last spring: pajama Kaahnaah!
While Olypica explores the difficult choices, tough battles, and heartfelt moments, it also is a slice of life in a way, detailing how the various characters spend their day. Thus, this is the sort of outfit Kaahnaah would wear on her days off from rough and tumble action.
Olypica-Style SWTOR adopts
So with my last two polls wrapping up, I'll begin starting on the Star Wars adopts here shortly! However, I wanted to give yall a sneak peek on the themes/species I will be working with. A lot of the votes went towards wanting to see strange, rare Star Wars races, so I plan on incorporating those! Here are the general themes for the four adopts: Purple/Maroon Verlokadu Togruta Rogue Cyan/Grey/Seafoam Kubaz Sith Gold/Black Retired Tholothian Republic trooper Peacock Spider Harch Jedi Expect sketches for these fellas within the next week or so! They'll likely be halfbodies with a starting price of $15, with the whole event acting like a sort of auction. There will be two tiers of autobuys- where you get the character outright for an additional cost- one that'll be around 30-40$, and another that'll be an additional 10$ or so that will include a fully rendered Olypica-style portrait. Additionally, when purchased, you can opt for your character to appear on an official page of the Olypica comic! When the time comes, If you have ideas on how you’d like your character to appear, feel free to let me know. If not, I’ll do my best to ensure they’re included in a fun way! With this, however, keep in mind that I cannot guarantee when your character will appear, or in what manner. Their cameo may not be true to whatever fan-lore you come up with for them, so keep that in mind! Anyway, stay tuned for further updates!
In a similar vein to the post I had earlier, here is the original look-test for Olypica! I wanted to get the style down, and- at the time- I think I achieved it. The whole artstyle of Olypica was based on the early 2000s Clone Wars cartoons, along with a couple other inspirations.
Once the true style debutes in the comics, I certainly plan on changing a few things. I want my backgrounds to be more refined, my lineart to be colored, things like that.
One of these days I want to redraw this piece. I already know the poses I want, the angles, etc. Compared to the vision in my head, this version is far less epic, haha.
Obligatory 2 a.m post. Around this time last year, I drew this piece. It was the first ever thing I did of Kaahnaah after her redesign, and who would eventually become Reviandra. So, in a way, happy 1-year to Olypica! (Even though I only recently switched from Instagram to Tumblr)
Although I’ve still got a lot of work to do (we’re only in the Prelude, after all), I’m still proud to look back at all I’ve accomplished, and I hope to share more past pieces of concept art soon!

Since Olypica-style SWTOR adopts seem to have a rather heavy lead in yesterday’s poll, what kind of adopts would y’all like to see?
Of course, I plan on doing all of these eventually, but I may put more effort or make more of the top rated ones.
Additionally, I’m considering adding your Olypica OCs to the comic when purchased, as a cameo of sorts, but that’s still up in the air.

I was definitely in sort of an artistic rut when I sketched this piece, but I still feel it conveys what it needs to! Here is Luciax Clavcar, Jedi Knight and ambassador to Shili. He helped plant the tree which thwarted the Great Murrain… at least for a time.

Adding another character to the roster, here is Caieda! This stoic and focused Jedi will be making appearances in my Star Wars AU comic, Olypica!
Similarly to the Togruta, the Kaminoians have undergone a level of headcanoning too, but that will likely be explored later down the line.
